On Saturday, our ILO, attended a meeting of the Socialist Labour Party, in Birmingham.  From his report:

MEETING ON SATURDAY WAS GOOD. 

THE GOOD THING OF ARTHUR SCARGILL IS THAT HE DOESN'T THINK MUCH OF JEREMY CORBYN EITHER. 

HE AND THE SLP ARE A CLEAR BREAK FROM THE LABOUR PARTY.

HE CAME TO BIRMINGHAM THE WEEK BEFORE THE EU 🇪🇺 REFERENDUM (PRO BREXIT OBVIOUSLY) AND HE SAID QUOTE: "JOINING THE LABOUR PARTY WAS MY WORST MISTAKE AND LEAVING IT WAS THE BEST THING I DID". 

ALSO, PEOPLE NEED TO BE AWARE THAT "socialist" HAROLD WILSON LEADER OF THE LABOUR PARTY AND PRIME MINISTER IN THE 1960s CLOSED DOWN EVEN MORE COAL MINES THAN MARGARET THATCHER DID IN THE 1980s. AND HE WAS MEANT TO COME FROM THE SO CALLED LEFT OF THE LABOUR PARTY.

Online Progress

The new Forum is up and running at https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/smpbiforum/index.php.  It is in its infancy and needs YOU to build it.  Come along and build the new system of cooperation and support.  The Forum will have an area just for members, but non-members (as of now) will be welcome to join the open area and debate with us.

The Culture blog is up and running at https://britishworkingclassculture.blogspot.com/.  The site has began with theb artwork of Comrade Tovarish B00t.  Artists, poets, musicians etc, are invited to send in your examples of Working Class Culture.  This is a venture which will grow.

Onwards and Upwards
