1. Terrorism

I'm sure you were shocked, as I was, by the murder of Vladlen Tatarsky in St Petersburg, on April 2nd. The circumstances of it all seem surreal - Vladlen was holding a creative evening, giving a presentation, talk, answering questions, on his work. A young lady calling herself 'Nastya' arrived with a heavy box, and was initially stopped at the door, by security, with some comment that she may 'have a bomb in there'. Vladlen seeing this, and apparently knowing 'Nastya' at some level, waved her through, although he clearly still had some reservations about her, and her package, and indeed, there was clearly something off. Perhaps due to these reservations, Tatarsky invited 'Nastya' to be near him, as he opened her package, which turned out to be a bust in his own image. That bust blew up shortly after Vladlen had opened it, immediately killing him, and wounding some 40 people, several of them seriously. Vladlen himself was an innocent, unarmed person, and those 40 wounded were all just people who had gone along to see a talk by a war correspondent on his work. 

It's a near miracle that no one else was killed, as the blast ripped through the central St Petersburg cafe, shortly after 6pm on a Sunday evening, obliterating the inside of the cafe, and blowing windows out into the path of passing cars. As it is, we are talking about the murder of Vladlen Tatarsky, noted Russian blogger, and war correspondent, but had things been different we could be talking about the mass murder of multiple innocent civilians, in Russia's second city. This fact has not stopped the ukrainians, pro-ukrainians from celebrating this terrorist act, 

'Nastya' as you know was 26-year-old opposition activist Darya Trepova, already in custody, rightly charged with the committing of terrorist act. As for Vladlen himself, there is not a lot I can say about him, he had his own style, and his own content, I was aware of his work, and his achievements in building a huge audience, and resonance, and also doing humanitarian work, deserve real respect. He was from Donbass, loved Donbass, and was enjoying his newfound popularity in Russia, giving talks, and presentations on his work. His murder, and the potential murder of any number of people attending his event, was a terrorist act, and one which clearly shows that there is no level too low for those on the ukrainian side looking to silence information.

2. Sanctions

I remain under sanctions from the UK Government. The only way these can be overturned, and that I can return to the UK - when the job here is done - is by my defeating the British Government in the High Court, in London.

1. Soledar - As you know, in January the significant settlement of Soledar, here in Donbass, after months of fierce fighting, came under full Russian control. I was in Soledar soon after to do reportage from the scene, however I felt that the road there deserved its own report -

3. Supporting my work - 

I'm truly touched every time someone asks me about this, sincerely! What to say, there is literally only one way, via my Russian Sberbank card - 5469 3800 7878 9806 (card number). 

And that is how I'm getting by. Obviously that's not going to be an option for most people in the west, can't make any IBAN transfers onto that card, etc, and as for my western accounts, etc - my Paypal and Patreon, terminated, my bank account, frozen - all by UK government sanctions. So, even if you could make a transfer to my UK bank account, which you couldn't, it's frozen in time as of July 26th 2022, I'd have no way to access that. So, for most of you, there's literally no way, however support to me is not just, and has never been, a financial thing - support is the kind words you write, your comments on the reportage, everything. And the UK government, however much they want to, can never sanction the kindness and support shown to me, there is no freeze on the free-flowing reserves of your moral support, which means the world to me. 

To get my sanctions overturned, after the rejection of an appeal I literally put everything into, is now going to take a High Court case in the UK, at the moment, I'm looking for a solicitor in the UK to represent me in that, if you have any recommendations, you know what to do! 

4. Humanitarian work - My humanitarian work goes on, it's not something I do that many videos on YouTube about for a number of reasons - I try to keep my YouTube content more related to events themselves rather than 'good deeds', don't want to be seen to 'virtue signal', and also, my humanitarian work is not of the greatest relevance to many of my YouTube viewers - the items are donated by people in Russia, money is never collected just items donated, then delivered by myself to destination - so for most of my YouTube friends / viewers, there's going to be no real way to be involved. However, for your information, a couple of videos from Vkontakte - and by the way I know some have come to join me on VK, which is wonderful, however I do preserve that as a Russian-speaking environment, so comments in Russian, etc - as for the rest there's Facebook / Telegram etc. And so -

2022: A Summary

2022 is coming to a close. But how has the year been for the Socialist Motherland Party of the British Isles?

2022 has been a year of change. We have found ourselves increasingly at odds with the decadent society we live in. This has resulted in our activities being hampered and ways of working having to be rethought.

On the Social Media front, 2022 saw the Party's permanent ban on Twitter during the pre-Musk management lifted, only to be replaced by a repeated 7 day ban, with short periods of allowed activity.  The number of weekly bans has quickly added up, with a renewed permanent ban all but guaranteed in 2023.

On Facebook, the Party has been subjected to a series of 30 days bans, with the unbanned periods getting shorter and shorter. Just as with Twitter, the Party presence on Facebook is becoming increasingly futile, with short bans and shadow-banning being just a stage along the path to total bans from these platforms. 

Clearly, SMPBI policies are not welcome on the liberal-globalist anti-social media sites.

The Party has been moving onto alternative social media sites, including VK, Rumble, Telegram, GETTR.  We continue to have access to YouTube, Instagram, Reddit, Quora and other sites.

 In 2022 we juggled with offline and online activities. In 2023 our offline activities will be relegated to simple networking, rather than fighting in the online propaganda war.  

The internet is a useful tool for dialogue and organisation amongst reliable comrades. However, participation on social media is in truth participation in the data-mining and surveillance operations of the State and of the enemies of our Class and People.

In 2022, our online activities garnered contacts in the anti-Nato arena, in pro-biology groups, in anti-anti-Semitic organisations, as well as a myriad of groups and individuals who we can align with on an issue-by-issue basis. We will deepen our cooperation with these individuals and groups in 2023. The internet is useful if approached properly. We will not be abandoning the internet, but rather approaching it in more productive ways.

2022 was also very useful in building real world contacts, which we will consolidate on in 2023. Comrades will be kept abreast of these developments offline.

The Party leaves 2022 with more ideological clarity than we entered it.  We have a stronger understanding of the forces at play against healthy organic Socialism, and most importantly we have a strategy for fighting back against the common enemy. 

Understanding who the enemy is and how it works is vital in combating the enemy. However, those who congratulate themselves for gaining insight into the problems facing our Class and People, but who cannot go beyond a perverse socio-political voyeurism, are useless. 

The SMPBI is building a real world network of activists with a strategy for firstly surviving the liberal onslaught, and secondly overcoming the enemy, with victory being a realistic and obtainable objective.

2023 will be a year of action: a year of real world work, with real world success.

The hypocrisy of the media: ukraine and the cost of living crisis

The UK and the nations in the EU are suffering cost of living crises which began with the covid-19 lockdowns and have been exacerbated by the nato proxy- conflict against Russia.

The collective west has imposed sanctions on Russia for the 'crime' of defending its people from the genocidal attacks of the neighbouring neo-nazi state of Ukraine. These sanctions have resulted in energy crises across the EU. The UK is reasonably energy efficient, so unlike continental Europe which relies on imported energy, the reason for the energy crisis in the UK is pure opportunistic profiteering by the privatised energy companies.

In the UK and Ireland, the media is speaking of the probability of black-outs as the energy companies with-hold energy at peak usage times. However, for many across the Isles, the artificially-hiked energy prices have already led to people having to endure icy temperatures with no heating. The planned official black-outs are to come on top of the horrific reality of self-imposed black-outs due to energy bills being unaffordable. 

The hypocritical media are crying crocodile tears over the neo-Nazi capital, Kiev, experiencing power cuts as the Russian defence forces target the energy grid to halt the movement of nato weaponry to the Russian regions which the Kiev regime seeks to annex. 

The media does not mention that the power cuts which we have to endure in the Isles could be halted in an instance if the unelected prime minister chose to put the people of the Isles first by creating a national energy company which would provide energy profit-free, thus putting the profiteers out of business and preventing the cold-related deaths of the elderly and frail.

The London regime of WEF collaborator, Sunak, could end the cost of living crisis in the UK at very little cost to the tax-payer. However, the regime chooses to funnel money to Kiev, some of which is used for weapons to murder Russians in the west of the Russian Federation, but most of which is laundered through Kiev into the accounts of the regime and those who control it.

The Socialist Motherland Party of the British Isles would declare Ukraine an enemy state and cease providing assistance to the neo-Nazi regime which has been murdering Russian civilians since 2014. 

We would immediately create a single company to be operated on a not-for-profit basis, which would supply gas, electric and water to all households and businesses, causing the private companies to collapse through lack of customers. 

We would use tax-payer money for the betterment of legally-resident citizens, keeping every penny in the country. 

We would abolish the lying media which presents the cost of living crisis as something which is beyond the ability of the state to fix and is somehow the fault of a country at the opposite end of Europe.

The hypocrites of the globalist media, and the WEF puppets in London and Dublin, would have us think that Moscow is our enemy and that the elderly dying of hypothermia is a cost worth paying to prop up the neo-Nazis in Kiev. These liars are the enemy. Only the Socialist Motherland Party of the British Isles dares to point out the reality of the corrupt regimes in London and Brussels. Only we have viable solutions to the artificial problems foisted on our people.

Princess Grace - A Total Disgrace

Victory: On 22nd October, 48 hours after this petition was created, HCA Healthcare realised the folly of their actions and have now reinstated Teresa's life-saving operation together with the care she needs, in another of their hospitals which has the Da Vinci robot.

The Princess Grace hospital, a prestigious private facility in London, has axed a vulnerable woman’s urgent colo-rectal operation because they ‘don’t agree with her beliefs’.

Teresa, a retired solicitor, chose this specific hospital because it was one of a few hospitals in the UK that use the Da Vinci robot that can handle delicate and complex operations and believed they would offer single-sex care.  As a vulnerable victim of sexual assault, Teresa also thought that the Princess Grace hospital would be understanding and sensitive to the trauma that she had suffered. 

Before she was admitted to the hospital for her pre-op checks, Teresa had already specified that she required a single-sex bathroom and stated that she would only answer questions on the form about her sex, not her ‘gender identity.

During the pre-op check which involved intimate care, a man in a blonde wig and bright lipstick entered the room, for no apparent reason other than to make eye contact with Teresa, which caused her to panic and obviously made her wonder whether she was being targeted or intimidated as a result of her previous requests.

Feeling frightened and vulnerable, Teresa reported the incident as a ‘patient dignity breach’ and requested that from now on, her care was only provided by female healthcare professionals - a request that is entirely lawful under the Equality Act.

Following the consultation, Teresa had to return home for three days to prepare for the operation, and pre-op medication was supposed to be couriered to her. Nothing arrived, so she called the hospital and was told that the urgent operation had been cancelled with no explanation given as to why.

The CEO then sent Teresa an email saying that the operation which was due the next working day, had been cancelled due to a ‘lack of shared values' and ‘to protect staff from unacceptable distress’. 

The life-saving operation would have involved two leading surgeons, their clinical entourage, two surgery suites, a robot, a place in ICU and a patient bed for seven nights, and this was all cancelled at the last minute.

In contravention of healthcare regulations, the hospital CEO failed to confirm that she would register the patient dignity breach and did not offer to investigate it.

If the scheduled operation is no longer available to Teresa, her only alternative is to have open surgery, which was not the recommended option. Last week, just four days after the operation was due to take place, her condition began to deteriorate, and Teresa ended up in A&E, in considerable pain. She has rapidly lost weight and may now be too weak to have the open surgery.

The actions of the Princess Grace hospital are despicable. This is absolutely unconscionable.  The Chief Executive and their parent company, HCA Healthcare must be held accountable. Sign to demand that they reinstate Teresa’s operation with the utmost urgency.

1. My reportage in the recent period: (History in the Happening)

In this newsletter period, I've been entirely in Donbass. My reportage has encompassed frontline reportage, coverage of Ukrainian shelling, and humanitarian work / reporting. The culmination has of course been coverage of the recent, historical referendum. I covered that from the Lugansk People's Republic. 2. Dealing with the Media 

I'd much rather be doing what I love, than have to spend time dealing with the lies, fakes, provocations and slander published about me by the media, mostly the British media. However, if these aren't dealt with, they are passed on as fact, as you saw from the Saker, the basis for the UK government sanctioning me was largely false claims about myself, and my work, in the British media - http://thesaker.is/the-persecution-of-graham-phillips-by-the-uk-government/

So, unless these are dealt with, they can have 'real world consequences'. The recent Sun article came to my attention when it was tweeted on by noted shitmuncher Eliot Higgins of Bellingcat - Eliot Higgins on Twitter: "The Sun is reporting that "The Met’s War Crimes Team are probing YouTube propagandist Graham Phillips", over videos our Graham filmed of Aiden Aslin and Shaun Pinner while they were held prisoner by Russian forces. https://t.co/fkAECUmZFO" / Twitter

Of course Eliot has never been interested in facts, or truth - why would he be, that's certainly not what those paying him want - so didn't contact me to verify any of the claims made by, of all publications, the gutter-dwelling Sun. I checked out the article only to find it a stinking sewer of false claims, fake, and general shit. So, today I sent a full and formal complaint to The Sun about that - either corrections, and a full apology will be issued, or I'll escalate the matter further. 

This all takes time, of course I'd rather be doing my reportage, however the reality of the situation is that it's all part of the job. The Sun is read by millions, if their lies are allowed to go unpassed it means people arriving to my work with a prejudiced view, damaging the perception, reception, and result. So, as i say, these things have to be dealt with, and their lies will be put in place where the Sun doesn't shine, so to speak.

For now, I'm just getting by, and in any case I've never been a material person, so your words of support, and moral support are what mean most to me! Graham Phillips' First Newsletter from Donbass

Graham Phillips is a rare individual operating in a bland sea of uniformity. As a journalist, he is especially rare insofar as he reports what is happening from a first person perspective, interviewing people who are dealing with the reality he is recording.  In contrast with the legions of controlled media, Graham is not pushing war propaganda, he is simply reporting what is happening. 

For his steadfast work in allowing the voice of the People of the Donbass and other territories to be heard, Graham has been vilified in the establishment media of the collective west, with his own country the worst to attack him.

Graham has kindly allowed the Socialist Motherland Party of the British Isles to publish his newsletters on our sites. It is our hope that this will assist him in beating the censors. Of course, this may bring the censors down hard on ourselves, but with Twitter banning us completely, Facebook banning us so frequently that we will lose that platform sooner or later, it would be cowardly and pointless to limit our Internet activities to those which are approved of by the global thought  police.

Hello my friend! 

For years now, I've been sending out a mailing, giving updates on my work, how to support, my reportage, etc. Recent times have seen an unprecedented level of contact, and interest, something I'm very grateful for, and which also puts it on me to up the game a bit in this sphere.

So, going forward, newsletters from me go out with a Graham Phillips Newsletter plus number # headline, for your clarity. Also, so you know, they all go out bcc, no one can see anyone else's email address. I write them all myself, this is my personal email address. And, I always respond to your emails from this address, no one else has access to it. I've read your emails with reservations about gmail, but this has been my email address for over 15 years, and for now, we shall go on with it.

So, now that's covered, on we go. Well, firstly, almost a month ago now, I got sanctioned by my own government, illegally. We'll deal with that in a moment, but my priority has been, as ever, continuing with the reportage from Donbass, as from 2014, on. And, it's been a busy time, with more to come, in this period my attention has been in large part on the city of Severodonetsk, recently taken by the LNR / Russia -

So, all of that, and I'm looking forward to getting back to the Donbass frontline soon, to bring you exclusive reportage from there!!

As for the sanctions placed on me by the UK government, well, in short, I appealed that illegal decision, from day 1, and that appeal process is continuing, I'm in 'dialogue' with the UK government on the theme, and they've already made some concessions - confirming to me that I'm free to enter the UK, with no criminal charges against me, and that I can access my own funds, by filling out an application to the UK government each time I want / need something... I informed in response that naturally i am free to enter my own country, and i will not be made to beg to the UK government for food money from my own funds. The only acceptable outcome is a full rescinding of the illegal sanctions against me, a promise by the UK government to never again attempt to punish their own citizen without a trial (or in my case even charges), and an offer of compensation for what has amounted to an attempt the UK state to destroy a British independent journalist. Of course, i retain full rights for my own legal action against the UK state, on a number of counts. 

I've been hugely gratified by the number of people who've written to me in this time, asking how to support my work. For all these years, my work has been supported by crowdfunding, and earnings from YouTube. YouTube demonetized me in April, and sanctions shut off my Patreon, and Paypal. So, how am I getting by? Well, on savings, and from my Russian bank account - that is currently the only way to send funds to support my work, my Russian Sberbank - Грэм Филлипс - 5469 3800 7878 9806 

Several have contacted me asking me about Bitcoin. Bitcoin is something I've never done before, and shall not be doing at this point. There is a lot of publicity around bitcoin, and I don't want my story to be turned into one of 'how Graham Phillips used bitcoin to beat sanctions', etc, for promotional purposes. Whatever the merits of bitcoin are, they can never compensate for the government using totalitarian methods to seize all your funds, and assets. And actually that is just the financial element of the UK government's actions, even campaign against me, what they've effectively, deliberately done is make me an 'enemy of the state', in the UK, encourage all kind of death threats, etc, make my own country a place so hostile for me that anything could happen to me... it's the UK government using dark ops, hoping that at the least, i'll be driven into exile, take up Russian citizenship, then they can just erase me as a UK citizen, take everything i own, completely un-person me in the UK. 

However, we will win this, I will return to the UK. At the moment, there is so much work to do from here in Donbass, that I can't say when, likely not very soon, but no one is forcing me into exile, even in my beloved Donbass, Russia.

Time to Overthrow the Collective West

The Socialist Motherland Party has resolutely stood in support of the People of the Donbass to live as they wish to. This has put us in direct opposition to the regimes of the UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand - which for simplicity can be referred to as the Collective West.

The party standing in opposition to the Ruling Class and puppet politicians of the Collective West with regards to the Nato-Russia proxy war in the Ukraine, DNR, LNR and Crimea, is a continuation of our permanent position of standing for freedom against tyranny.  What makes the current situation different is the censorship of corporations such as Google, Microsoft and Facebook, which makes open discussion of the machinations of the Collective West difficult.

We have been banned on numerous sites, but even so, are still able to reach out to like-minded people. 

Fight back.

What YOU can do to help us in the fight against censorship is to post our articles, spread the ideology of freedom and actively create a sea of profiles which can be activated whenever our presence is threatened.

But far more importantly than just keeping our Internet activity going, we must get back into leafleting, postering and communicating in the real world.

The old order is crumbling.  We stand against the nato proxy war, the manufactured cost of living crisis, the assault on childhood and biological reality, and so do a growing number of people.  This is a time of possibility for us. We can build the Party, spread the ideology, and save the nation.  But only if all of us do are part.

The nation is being destroyed - and it is all to plan

The UK is being wrecked. The globalist corporations and their puppet politicians and doing all they can to bring the nation to its knees.

Brexit was the democratic demand that the UK leave the EU and become a free independent sovereign nation. The Ruling Class have turned this demand on its head by making the UK a puppet of globalist capital, with the figurehead prime minister manœuvering the UK into NAFTA, replacing the European Empire with the American one.

The creation of the trilateral military menace of AUKUS undermines British sovereignty further by increasing the hegemony of the USA, making Airstrip One a reality rather than a fantasy from the book, 1984.

The Convid plandemic has seen freedoms erased to grovelling applause. The British People have been scared into demanding experimental vaccines and controls on how we live.

The manufactured fuel crisis has seen people behaving as perfect selfish Capitalists, literally fighting over their place in a queue for petrol or diesel.

Supermarkets are rationing the number of items people can buy, with Tesco applying a limit of 115 items per shop.

The navy has been deployed to stop EU fishermen from going about their business in the English Channel, but also to act as a taxi service for illegal immigrants coming to the nation.

Afghani traitors who have to flee the Taliban or face justice for their service to the NATO-imposed quisling regime, are being brought in in massive numbers to provide a surplus army of labour to allow the Capitalists to continue to exploit the Workers by failing to pay a decent wage or provide decent working conditions.

The separatists are seizing every opportunity to promote disunity and further weaken the Motherland.

All this is by design.

It is time to stop passively observing the death of the nation and to start actively fighting back.

The Free Workers' League have left the Socialist Motherland Party

The Socialist Motherland Party came into existence when the Free Workers' League and British Socialist Party joined together. Originally this merger was called the Socialist Workers' Party of England, but due to confusion with another organisation of a similar name it was decided to change to the current one.

We believed that our unification would serve to join two very small organisations which were so similar ideologically that it made no sense to do anything other than unite.  Sadly, this has proven to have not been the case.

There has been discontent for some time within the Party with the belief that the FWL contribution has been less than nil. The former BSP members have undertaken all the work, with the only significant impact of the former FWL members being an accommodation with ideologically standpoints which have become more at odds with the rest of the party than we anticipated.

The lack of work on behalf of the 'cadres' of the FWL faction led to the decision of the comrades who have been publishing material, organising activities, recruiting new members, manning the Party email addresses and telephones to withdraw our labour - to go on strike. It was hoped this would force the self-proclaimed cadres to step up and prove their worth by getting active. All electronic systems were forwarded so as to make this possible.  

As can be seen by the total failure to do any work at all, we have found that the worth of the FWL faction exists solely in their own self-proclamations.  As a result, the BSP- FWL merger has been reversed.

The Party is keeping the name, Socialist Motherland Party. We will be reviewing our policies to remove points of contention accepted as a compromise with the FWL when we came together. 

Apologies to all supporters and members who have been left in the dark while we have had to take the drastic action of striking to end the situation of a faction within the Party parasitically feeding on the rest of it.

The departure of the FWL leaves us numerically smaller. In terms of workload, we are no worse off.  In terms of ideology, we have the opportunity to grow.

Points of contact are now fully manned. Comrades are requested to get in touch to share the workload and build our organisation now the time-wasters and disrupters are gone.

Passive Resistance Has Failed. Active Rebellion Is Vital

2020 has seen the UK regime and its devolved counterparts move further and further into tyranny.  Using the excuse of the corona virus, the servants of globalism have enacted legislation which has destroyed the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of British people.

Furthermore, they have placed the entire country under house arrest, with people being told who we are allowed to associate with, when we are allowed to leave the house, what we are allowed to buy, how we must dress and behave.  

The regime website lays out reams of restrictions upon personal life (for England, although similar restrictions apply cross the UK), including nonsensical drivel such as the prohibition of buying non-essential items such as clothes from high street shops, the criminalisation of sitting in your own garden with friends or relatives you don't live with, the banning of meeting socially where people may dare to openly discuss the tyranny being enacted by the globalists and their puppet states (such as going to the pub, a cafe, restaurant, local sporting event, marriage and so-called 'civil partnership', extra-curricular educational activity, visiting the gym, getting your hair cut etc etc.)

Protesting against this insanity in groups in excess of two(!) people is also illegal - the traitors imposing this tyranny will not allow us to discuss it. Not that we have any respect for their laws and their uniformed thugs who enforce it.  Former soldiers attending the Remembrance Sunday commemoration of soldiers killed in regime-orchestrated wars were attacked by the regime police at the weekend.  The police have chosen their side in the battle between the people and the global corporations, and we should be grateful that there is no longer any need, reason or excuse to apologise for the blue-suited or plain-clothes servants of the City of London, the Stock Market, and Global Capitalist Imperialism.

The wearing of face nappies is mandatory in the shops which have been allowed to remain open (of course many have closed permanently) and in public transport including taxis. This is in spite of a wealth of research by medical professionals which proves that not only is there no medical benefit in wearing face nappies, but rather there are serious health risks in doing so, specifically the re-inhalation of  waste air, the increase in face-touching with the potential for adding harmful bacteria to the face via ill-fitting naps, the need for reduced social-distancing to compensate for inability to communicate beyond the face barrier, and last but not least the environmental impact of millions of disposable nappies being discarded in public.  In a nutshell, they don't work, but you will be fined for not wearing one unless you have a medical condition such as anxiety, asthma etc which - importantly - you do not have to disclose, and the state, police and shops have no right to ask you about.

All this despotic control has been unleashed under the cover of a virus which has a survival rate in excess of 99%.  

The corona hysteria whipped up by the compliant media is smoke and mirrors distraction propaganda to allow the globalists to force through their anti-sovereignty (national and individual) revolution unhindered.  

The thousands of people who have seen through the lies of the government and big business (which in truth are rapidly becoming indistinguishable) and their controlled media, is proof that just as the British people resisted the globalist liars who tried every underhand tactic to try to force us to vote to remain in the EU, so there are many, many of us who have not been fooled by their plandemic and all the erosions of freedom which have been rushed through by the fear-mongers.  Unfortunately, just as with the Remoaners who are still campaigning for the Global Empire's local proxy, the EU, there are also vast numbers of media-swallowers who hang on every word of Boris Johnson, Mark Drakeford, Nicola Sturgeon, Arlene Foster and their counterpart Micheál Martin.

The protests across the Isles are laudible, but the reliance on passive resistance and submission to the police, make them ineffectual.  We are at a juncture in history where the cowardly revolution of the ruling class has to be fought back by a heroic revolution of the working class.  This means we must make the job of the police in arresting protesters impossible.

Contrary to the spirit of the Robert Peel's Nine Principles, the police are no longer policing by consent, and they are becoming increasingly militarised.  As peaceful protesters continue to be assaulted by violent criminals hiding behind the words 'police', 'heddlu', 'garda', it is obvious that we need to reconsider our attitudes to the police.  The police need to be transitioned from an organisation which enforces the will of the globalist ruling class into an orgnisation which protects the people.  This requires the full implemenation of a Workers' Revolution and the total dstruction of the globalist liberal mindset.  This is a long term objective.  Right now, we must consider the police - in protest sitations - as the enemy, and adapt our tactics to that end.

We can make significant progress by simple things such as the use of clothing which negates the use of (generally) non-lethal weapons of police brutality, specifically:

• Goggles and masks to protect us from CS gas and pepper spray
• Body armour such as sports padding (shoulder pads, knee pads, groin boxes etc) and crash helmets to protect us from police baton attacks
• Carbon-taped taser-resistant clothing which makes tasers useless
  
• Extra-widened wrist bands to prevent police attaching police cuffs

But...most importantly we also need to be ready to take physical action to stop the police grabbing people. The Socialist Motherland Party does not advocate attacking the police, rather we call for defensive measures which make it impossible for them to kidnap protesters, using reasonable force as may be required.

At present, protesters are being beaten, arrested, fined, imprisoned.  Government restrictions which we were told were temporary are becoming permanent.  Total control via the end of paper currency and the total globalisation of commerce is becoming a reality.  

Oligachs such as Jeff Bezos are making billions of pounds extra profit by monopolising online shopping at a time when real world shops are being closed down at an accelerating rate. Some more conspiratorially-minded people would say that Bezos and his partners-in-crime are part of the clique who engineered the plandemic, but whether there is any truth in that, or the more plausible concept that the oligarchs have used the opportunity given them to consolidate wealth, is irrelevant. The global monopolisation of commerce via the cashless economy has the potential to make national sovereignty a de facto thing of the past, with nations having as much significance as counties, existing only as ceremonial historical curiosities.

A Socialist future requires the continuation of nations, with borders to trade as well as travel.  Passive resistance in the face of global brutality has as much chance of long term success as the Polish Cavalry at Krojanty had fighting off the tanks of the Wehrmacht in 1939.   Passive Resistance has spontaneously broken out across the country, but it is not enough. We have to fight back

The Socialist Motherland Party Youth Division now has its own site.  Christopher James Boardman has been leading the Youth Wing for some time now, being active on Facebook and Twitter.  Due to the lock-down and ill-health, Chris hasn't been able to get active offline, but the lock-down is easing and his health is improving, so this will change - hopefully soon.

No Platforming is the path to ideologically purified extinction. We have to fight its causes and build unity where disunity prevails.

The Socialist Motherland Party has a core strategy of cooperating with everybody who stands against the liberal globalising nightmare which is step-by-step wiping out freedom everywhere.  This strategy has led us to make alliances on an issue by issue basis with parties and individuals which definitely sit outside the comfort zone of many on the left.  We have also reached out to organisations with the result that we have agreements in place that in the case of democratic elections, we will support other organisations rather than split the vote by standing our own candidates, and of course this is reciprocal.

The strategy of 'no no platforming' is one which we are rightly proud of.  However, the old self-defeating no platforming tactic is still very much in use in British politics.  The People's Revolution Party has responded to our message of comradeship and hopes of cooperation by the simple one line reply:

"We don't cooperate with communists I'm afraid."

This is disappointing. 

As Revolutionary Patriotic Socialists, we understand the need to build alliances outside the mainstream political arena.  The bourgeois liberals have successfully infiltrated the left, with the anti-Socialist ideology of id politics ruining many organisations and causing many activists to give up the struggle in disgust at the middle class infiltrators poisoning Working Class politics with ideological drivel.  Perhaps TPRP is wary of cooperating with us because of the stigma which id politics has brought to the name Socialism?

The label Cultural Marxism is used to describe all SJW ID Politics.  This is revisionist heresy at its worst.  Socialism is about bringing people together and fighting as one for an end to the exploitation of our class.  The SJW nonsense is capitalist to the core, dividing people against each other according to an ever increasing number of irrelevant categories.  The established divisions of race and sex have been joined by such factors as sexuality, disability status and made up lunacy such as gender identity.  Anyone looking from the outside at the modern left cannot help but see a bourgeois sickness which is not only not attacking the capitalist system, but is in fact propping it up by encouraging people to become self-obsessed professional victims, who are a danger to Socialist solidarity.

We need to reclaim the word Socialism.  We need to smash the liberal infiltrator of Cultural Marxism / Intersectionality / Identity Politics / Social Justice Warriorism / whatever new and pathetic label the bourgeois filth choose in their crusade to destroy all that stands in the path of total capitalist victory worldwide. 

When we find ourselves 'no platformed' by people who are fighting the same fight and who should be standing alongside us shoulder-to-shoulder, but who think of liberal degeneracy when they see our name and symbol, that must be taken as a call to increase our effort to overthrow the individualistic liberal bourgeois menace and to bring about a revolution where our class is victorious and the divisive toxin which calls itself Socialist but is not Socialist, is swept away forever.

Separatism is a tool of Globalism

Separatism is a sickness which is being encouraged across the globe by those who seek to destroy all resistance to global capitalism.  In China, liberal degenerates are being funded and incited as a tool to break down Chinese sovereignty, and to balkanise the country to make it easier to absorb into the bankers' system.  In the British Isles, this sickness is just as dangerous, and needs to be confronted.

On the British mainland, history is being distorted, with people encouraged to rally to the flags of long-dead ruling class families, and to use local differences as fuel for racist/cultural/linguistic hatred.  The focus of the separatist bile is England and the English people/language.  The lunacy exists in the county of Cornwall where people are being misled into attacking their British brothers and sisters across the rest of the country.

In the -three regions which together make up the fallacy known as 'Wales', the hatred of all things English is being stoked to the point where the economy of two of the three regions (the exception being the area around Cardiff-Swansea) is being sacrificed in the pursuit of a fantasy about the historical mass murderer and ruling class parasite, Owain Glyndwr (rehabilitated as some sort of saviour!) as a rallying point for the enemies of the Working Class who seek to divide us so they can then manipulate our weakness to consolidate their misrule.

The Socialist Motherland Party was previously known as the Socialist Workers' Party of England.  As is evident by that name, English particularism has played its part in the movement.  This has been a thorny issue, which after a lot of internal debate has now been conclusively resolved.  We have sat on the fence for too long, but are now eager to take a positive position in defence of the Working Class against all who would divide us.  The Socialist Motherland Party position on sovereignty is absolutely clear: we stand in opposition to separatism, and seek to unify our people by a series of practical measures which will end the power of those who benefit by pitting us against each other.

The likes of Mebyon Kernow, Plaid Cymru, Llais Gwynedd will no longer go unopposed.  We are taking the battle to them!

The Peterloo Massacre changed NOTHING

Today marks two hundred years since capitalists murdered 18 Working Class people among nearly 700 injured by state-ordained terrorism in the Peter's Field area of Manchester.

The names of those murdered at the order of Manchester Magistrate, William Hulton:

These names are not taught in schools.  Working Class people are taught to recite the names of the Ruling Class oppressors, from such trivia as the wives of the 'king' Henry Tudor, to the names of bourgeois politicians and other criminals who form the Establishment.  We must remember our people who have been brutalised and destroyed by our class enemy - and to hell with the official 'history' which glorifies the crimes of the exploiters and traitors.

The Peterloo Massacre is called a defining moment in British politics, but it is nothing of the sort.  The perfectly reasonable requests of those peacefully gathered in Manchester on this day two hundred years ago, have all ultimately been ignored:

Suffrage

The rotten boroughs may have been scrapped, but now elected MPs simply ignore the instructions of the voters, making the vote irrelevant.  The class which derided the ability of the Working Class to make decisions for ourselves, continues to describe us as stupid (as having inferior intellect to them by virtue of birth).  They reluctantly allowed universal suffrage, but as is increasingly obvious by the refusal to implement the Working Class orders for Britain to leave the EU ('Brexit'), due to us not 'understanding' what we were voting for(!), voting means nothing.

Democracy

The revolutionaries who were judicially murdered in 1820 (John Brunt, William Davidson, James Ings, Arthur Thistlewood, Richard Tidd, RIP) understood the futility of bourgeois democracy, whereas the proto-trotskyite leader at Peterloo, Henry Hunt, clung on to pie in the sky reformism.  On this day we honour the memory of our comrades who were murdered by the state for daring to demand proletarian democracy, and we spit on the memory of the treacherous scum who followed the safe path and paved the way for their deaths (including those who betrayed them during the course of the kangaroo court convictions).

Taxes on Food, aka the 'Corn Laws'

The corn laws were repealed - eventually - but since then VAT on food has been introduced and the destruction of agricultural land has seen food poverty accelerate to the point where food banks are a necessity for millions of Working Class people.  Membership of the EU makes this worse, and the parasites in parliament are doing all they can to ensure the EU-wide corn laws stay in place.

A Living Wage and Liveable Working Hours/Conditions

The protesters at Peterloo wanted an end to the import of cheap labour, an end to working hours which made a life outside work impossible, and an end to mechanisation which was destroying jobs even then.  In modern Britain, we have zero hours contracts (the so-called Gig Economy) which see people forced to live in poverty with no job security whatsoever.  Those who have full-time work are forced to work overtime hours which - although officially illegal - are expected by employers.

Joseph Johnson of the Manchester Patriotic Union, wrote in August 1819 the following words:

"Nothing but ruin and starvation stare one in the face in the streets of Manchester and the surrounding towns, the state of this district is truly dreadful, and I believe nothing but the greatest exertions can prevent an insurrection."

Aside from the possibility of insurrection which is woefully unlikely due to the overwhelming apathy and despair of the down-trodden people, the words of 1819 are perfectly applicable to 2019.

It is absolutely disgusting and a mockery of the memory of those murdered by capitalists in 1819, that today in Manchester capitalist-neo-trot fanatics used the event to call for open borders, which are themselves the backbone of capitalist exploitation and the sure way to keep the people in poverty through fear of unemployment.

The Peterloo Massacre revisited at Orgreave, 18th June 1984

For those who say Peterloo was an isolated incident, it is only necessary to look back at the police brutality in the Miners' Strike to see that nothing has changed.  Like Peterloo, the authorities sent butchers on horseback to assault peaceful protesters, and then mobilised the media to slander the victims of establishment tyranny.  It is in part due to the Peterloo Massacre that the unarmed police were formed, so that the people would be somewhat safer from the brutality of the ruling regime and their paid mercenaries.  But even that small victory which doubtless saved the lives of hungry Miners in the 1980s, has now been reversed with the police routinely being better armed than the military.

Peterloo Changed NOTHING, it is up to us to make change happen

The Working Class are more exploited than ever.  Our living standards are collapsing along with our life expectancy.  Those who were murdered in 1819 have been followed by many more, and the collaborators in parliament and the media defile their names by uttering them.  We need a better future than the capitalists are willing to give us.  We are not asking for more, like Oliver Twist in the Dickensian workhouse; We are demanding more, nay, we are demanding EVERYTHING.

Don't fall for the rhetoric of the labour party, the loony trots and the pathetic social democrats. Fight for Freedom, for Socialism.  Make a difference. Join the only party that remembers those who fell in 1819, and which will ensure the crimes do not go unpunished.  Join the Socialist Motherland Party.

Activism means taking Actions

How many people moan about the state of the country, but do nothing?  Just about everyone.  As long as this pathetic mentality prevails, we are doomed.

The arch-enemies of the people, (the politicians who refuse to obey the instructions of the electorate to break the UK from the EU empire, whilst simultaneously bleating on about 'democracy') have done more than any foreign military in history to wreck and subjugate our homeland.  The titles of the parties are irrelevant - Labour, Tory, Lib-dem, SNP, Plaid Cymru, etc - all are self-serving, empire-serving and ultimately, finance-serving.

The despicable UK government has crushed the Working Class population.  We have had our employment opportunities wiped out by the deliberate introduction of Zero Hours Contracts, which make a mockery of the already lamentable Minimum Wage; our manufacturing base has been sold to multinational corporations who have simply closed it down and made a fortune in the process; our agricultural land has become industrialised, with food production such that nothing is safe to eat; prices of everything have risen so quickly that we find ourselves unable to afford to live beyond subsistence level.  All this has occurred alongside draconian legislation forbidding criticism of the Establishment and of those the liberal disorder they have fomented to crush us.

The hated UK-regime is not satisfied with ruining our standards of living, they are after our very land itself; land without which we cannot survive.  Our Green Belts are being abolished in order to allow greedy capitalist builders to concrete over every last bit of the UK; transforming our 'green and pleasant land' into a massive network of housing estates, akin to the southern English town of Reading.  The liars-in-chief, of course, argue that deregulating the green belt areas will boost the construction industry and allow first time buyers to get on the property ladder.  There is already a massive amount of vacant property which could be bought by the state under compulsory purchase orders, then redistributed to people in need of housing.  The Socialist Motherland Party sees the confiscation of second homes (including all homes rented out by private landlords) and vacant properties as the first step towards abolishing housing as a means of unearned income, with the later stages being the total end of private ownership, with free housing allocated by the state in a manner fitting each individual case in need.  The so-called housing shortage is a myth and could easily be ended by seizing empty housing alone.  But of course, the deliberate destruction of the land serves to make us reliant upon imports of food for our survival, and locks us into the global economic system; this is the real reason for this despicable policy.

As if to further infuriate the people, the hated government is crucifying people who are impoverished by the capitalist system, and require Universal Credit to top up their paltry income.  This year-on-year inflation-led cut in the safety net for the poorest in society is accompanied by a periodic rise in the tax thresh-hold for the richest people (including the government itself).  The scum at the top who haven't the faintest idea of what real work actually is, are so condescending that they openly declare those impoverished by the State's economic policies, to be 'scroungers'.  First they abolish the borders which protect the Working Class from an excess population which drives down wages and wage demands by the fear of unemployment, then they destroy any meaningful minimum wage by allowing the criminal practice of Zero Hours Contracts, then they crucify those they have thrown onto the dole by slashing social security assistance, and by introducing such sick and unacceptable measures as the 'bedroom tax'.  These people despise us, and take great joy in letting us know it.

We are being attacked on every front.  It is not enough to type on a keyboard, to whine in the privacy of our homes (away from the all-pervasive police surveillance state), or to take the electoral path for any reason other than to gain publicity for our ideology; we must take ACTION.

They want to screw us financially?  OK, then we must reciprocate.  We must do everything we can to exist outside their tax system, and we must ensure that wherever possible we only trade with our own class and not liberal class traitors who we should see as worse than the bourgeois filth they emulate; we must especially seek to trade with those who are self-employed and not a part of the international corporate menace.  At a practical level we can take such simple measures as buying our eggs and milk from a local milkman, rather than a supermarket (although this admittedly is becoming mor difficult as local dairies go to the wall).  The days in which supermarkets were vastly cheaper than independent traders are over; having crushed the majority of the competition through under-cutting prices, the supermarkets have increased them to the point where a pint of milk at a supermarket is maybe only a penny cheaper than from a local dairy, and eggs cost more!  On an ecological level, buying milk from a milkman is better, as dairy-produced milk comes in glass bottles which do not leach plastic into what we drink, and do not contribute to landfills which despoil our land.  The advantages of shopping locally range from keeping our own in work, to buying fresh produce which is safer than the chemically-poisoned rubbish sold by the corporations.  Local farmers should also be supported, as should all independent tradesmen who stand in opposition to the globalist menace.  Even those who live high up in tower blocks can grow a few herbs for cooking; it takes practically no work to do and starves the corporations of a little more money.  If we take the easy option of buying from big businesses because they are financially a little cheaper, then we support our own demise.  If we aren't willing to sacrifice a few pennies here and there, we really don't deserve to escape our plight.

Buying from our own should be operated in tandem with boycotting the shops and businesses of the globalisers.  Financially supporting those who are stealing from us is not only stupid, it is treacherous.  We must boycott all Coloniser businesses and only trade with our own class.  Wherever possible we must take actions which will harm the enemy businesses and benefit our own people.  The globalisers are burglars stealing what is ours and destroying what belongs to our children.  We must take action to firstly stop their economic growth, then ultimately to put them out of business.

The destruction of our countryside requires more physical action to halt.  Machinery can be broken; building materials can be taken off building sites; sites can be picketed so that work cannot commence.  All these things make building unprofitable, and without profit, businesses will not operate.  But, more than halting the building industry, we must research viable alternatives, and lobby the building companies to renovate existing properties, or to develop urban land.  If we can get these people on side, then we can defend our land at the same time as helping small businesses.  Multinational firms deserve no such courtesy and should be sabotaged as a matter of principle.

There is much we can do.  Huntingdon Life Sciences reign of terror was exposed by activists refusing to comply with the laws of the enemy; the company continues, but not without many problems.  SMPBI members were active in the initial struggle against HLS and continue to fight this despicable industry.  If those opposing the vivisectionists were a little bolder, the company could be closed permanently in the UK.  Why is it that people can be motivated to save the lives of animals, but will do nothing to end the genocide of our people?  We need a level of compassion for the Working Class people which matches our love of animals.

From growing our own food, to trading outside the tax system, to dealing exclusively with local independent businesses, to boycotting and taking action against the globalist corporations, there is a wealth of action we can take.  If we do nothing, we deserve the fate which awaits us.  Those who come after us do not deserve to suffer as a result of our cowardice.  The fight is now, and we have to be in it.  This is not a spectator sport, and those who see the struggle as entertainment, are worse than those who do nothing because they are ignorant.

For too long we've taken a mild approach to this war waged upon us - forgiving the so-called 'harmless' slip-ups and oversights of our comrades, but we can't do that anymore. Every single act (or lack of action) has a consequence and it all adds up.  Government actions are, when fully considered, malevolent to the people. The only thing which convinces us otherwise is their words, and these are reported by the media. Politicians are experts at convincing us that they mean us well whilst they cause us harm. So if we stopped watching TV, or reading their newspapers, and never saw a slippery politicians face again, how would we know that they aren't overt enemies.

While we still have the power of the Internet (for now), we must use it to its maximum ability while we still can.

Spread the message everyday, and those of other awakened comrades by mass (e)mailing the contents to friends and relatives while encouraging them to do the same. Don't refrain yourself from "speaking the truth, even if your voice shakes", or in this example when your hand shakes when pushing the "send" button on your computer screen.

By doing so, you're bravely saying to your detractors ... "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!" ... FREEDOM matters to me.

The Socialist Motherland response to the twitter and other social media clampdown

The Socialist Motherland Party is no stranger to conflict with social media censors.  The party was repeatedly forced off Facebook, and has been temporarily banned from Twitter on a number of occasions. Although we have had no problems on Facebook for some time, Twitter is a different story; the party is now permanently banned there.

So what did the SMPBI twitter team do to earn the ire of the free speech destroyers?


Taking a stand against Rapists

The party has an unwavering line with regards to a number of important issues, many of which twitter takes an opposite position on.  The social media tyrants waste no opportunity to promote degeneracy and to silence any opposition to the slide into absolute self-focused ego-maniacal individualism.  As a truly Socialist party, we naturally stand against all that is harmful to the people. Twitter has forced us to take down tweets condemning paedophilia in its direct sexual form and also in its brain-washing form which the government, media and education systems utilise.

Exposing Terrorists

We helped to expose the Al-Nusra Front / Al-Qaeda / White Helmets terrorists.  This did not go down well.  Twitter promotes these vile murderers who have slaughtered vast numbers of people in North Africa and the Middle East as mercenaries serving the US/UK and the capitalist corporations which control these and other countries.  Twitter is a part of the globalist control network, and doesn't take kindly to people speaking about the enemies of freedom who do the dirty work of the fake democracies.  The illegal UK regime is bringing White Helmets scum to the UK, housing them and by doing so, making the waiting lists longer for people in genuine need, as terrorists are literally being flown in and given accommodation as part of their pay for destabilising free Libya, Iraq, Syria etc.

Fighting the Transgender Industry

Another key point that we have been keen to insist upon, is the fact that lipstick is not a magick wand which when applied to a man has the power to change him into a woman.  Using hash tags such as #TransWomenAreMen, #TransMenAreWomen, #OnlyTwoGenders, Fight #TransFascism, etc, we joined forces with a considerable number of twitter users to stand up for the rights of people who are same-sex attracted to not be forced into feeling ashamed of their sexuality by an industry which makes vast sums from hormone 'therapy' and surgery designed to 'realign' gay/lesbian people's bodies so that they can pretend to be heterosexual.  The transgender propagandists are using the outright lie that sex and gender can exist independently, to make vast sums of money from un-necessary surgery by shaming homosexual people into believing that something is wrong with them and that they need to be 'cured' of their psychological illness by having body parts removed.

Our twitter campaign has been a thoroughly anti-homophobic one.  We have also pointed out that impressionable children are being targeted as victims for the industry to exploit.  Children of idiotic bourgeois liberal parents obsessed with identity politics, are especially vulnerable to being labelled as 'trans' - they have suffered enough being raised by trots and similar fools, they need to be rescued from the trans insanity, not operated on in order to make their liberal trendy families feel fashionable.  The school system, media, government, social services, police etc are all part of the attack on children - the paedophile assault on the innocent - and we have consistently taken a stand against this madness.

Defending the Unborn

Like Stalin before us, we believe that Mothers should be supported for the vital role they play in raising the next generation.  We oppose the Capitalist system which sees the unborn as an obstacle to women becoming wage-slaves.  We say that raising children is not a barrier to a career, it IS a career.  The infanticidal trotskyite/bourgeois fake feminists who promote killing children as a 'right', are commonplace on Twitter, and we took the battle to them.

Exposing racist bigots

We were more than happy to retweet the racist bigots, David Lammy and Diane Abbott (labour mps) and other bigots who hide behind their skin colour to racially abuse people of a different skin colour.

Calling for restoration of the Death Penalty

The Death Penalty was abolished in the UK in 1969 largely due to a campaign by the hypocrite Sydney Silverman, who had been a conscientious objector in the Great War, refusing to fight on the grounds that he disagreed with killing, but an advocate for sending British men to their deaths in the Second World War, which he rightly saw as a means for advancing the Zionist theft of Palestine.  We called for the execution of the Islamic State terrorist, Shamima Begum, and for all dual nationals who had similarly served the UK-proxy armies (Al Qaeda, IS, Al-Nusra etc) to be returned to the UK to be killed, or better still, for the Islamic State terrorists in the Al Hol refugee camp in Syria to be bombed to ashes .  Begum has become a media celebrity, with all the liberals falling over each other to have her brought 'home', given a house (yet again pushing good people further down the housing list to accommodate a servant of the state).  We pointed out that all the crocodile tears over her dead babies were a contrast to the silence for the many more children she is responsible for killing (her own through neglect, the rest through terrorism).  Twitter used this as the excuse to ban the SMPBI permanently.  Twitter loves terrorists who serve the globalist agenda.  The Socialist Motherland Party believes in justice, not compassionate 'rehabilitation', we believe in defending the people and destroying our enemies.  Twitter ironically concurs on this, hence banning us!

So. What to do now?

We have been permanently banned from Twitter.  The level of censorship is so extreme that it is inadvisable for anyone to use that site.  We advise comrades with accounts on there to remove themselves before a Twitter ban becomes a visit from the thought police.

We have looked at alternatives such as Gab, and found that the site is home to reactionaries who despise the word Socialist and who will fight to the last typed letter to defend the slave masters of the capitalist economy.  We have an account, which will stay there as a redirection point should anyone with an open mind happen to encounter it.  We will not be wasting time on a site which is populated with people who have closed their minds to the solutions to capitalism.

The SMPBI Forum is being updated more regularly, and we hope that people will come on board to debate.  We have a hidden members only section, but the forum is large enough for anyone to come and discuss matters with us.  We will be banning liberals/trots though - the site is for open discussion, not for arguing with bourgeois puppets!  We have had members join various other forums, with the result being bans from the identity politics obsessed left and right.  Our own forum is the way to progress.

Two Fingers to Twitter!

We have saved the last two months of the Twitter account (an account which would have been in operation for 6 years had it not been banned last month).  You can see for yourselves the 'offensive' tweets which the twitter thought police can not tolerate - although they tolerate paedophiles, racists, trans-homophobes, terrorists and many more varieties of scum.  We will trawl through the tweets to keep a list of decent websites so we can keep in touch with people and organisations who have fought alongside us.  Sadly, most twitter users do not have other sites linked to their twitter ones, and as a result many contacts will be lost.
