Zionism is not just bad for Jews and Palestinians, it is a sickness which destroys everyone it touches

The media in Britain has yet again proven it has not sense of irony.  On the day that the arch-Zionist regime headed by US President, Trump, has declared that it approves of the theft of Palestinian land by the Zionist state which occupies that area of west Asia, the UK operating media has chosen to attack the leader of the Labour Party for historical opposition to that criminal entity.

Labour leader, Corbyn, is accused of antisemitism(!) for not berating Ismail Patel at a 2008 Palestine Solidarity Rally where he stated,

“we see the impact of Zionism on Palestinians, but it has had a devastating effect on the Jewish community itself: it has made them immoral in justice.”

The thoroughly Zionised media in Britain condemns Corbyn for concurring with a statement which is self-evidently correct.  Zionism is an ideology which has destroyed an entire nation in the west of Asia, and has corrupted every nation where it has been allowed to take root.  The UK is a perfect example of Zionist degeneracy, with what amounts to the religion of global capitalism enshrined in law.  Criticism of the right of the global banking criminals to set up a global headquarters hiding behind the mythology of a people who existed two millenniums ago, is illegal in all but name in the UK.  All politicians have to visit occupied Palestine to pay homage to the cult of Zionism which uses myriad lies and diversions to ensure the unjust economic rape of the globe goes unopposed, nay, to ensure that those who do not worship at the altar of open borders capitalism are attacked until they do submit.

Palestine has been crushed, with the majority of the population forced into exile, the remaining trapped people forced to live in conditions which make it appropriate to refer to the Gaza Strip as the world's largest concentration camp. 

Those who have resisted the imposition of a Rothschild central bank (the laundering operation for the theft of wealth from the people of every nation where one exists) have been sanctioned, had their legitimate governments changed by fake revolutions, been bombed, or a combination of the above.  The list of countries destroyed in order to bring their economies into the global capitalist stranglehold include Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, the Sudan, Libya, Syria, Cuba, Korea, Venezuela, Bolivia amongst many, many others. There are only a small number of free nations left in the world, all of them under attack.

When Corbyn was a back bencher with principles, he stood by Palestine, he opposed the EU, he campaigned against the military machine of the Zionist cult (NATO).  Since he became leader of his party, he has turned 180 degrees on the EU unbelievably supporting membership of that capitalist organisation, he has gone silent on the North Atlantic Terrorist Organisation, so it would come as no surprise if the man who used to have strong and socialist beliefs but has abandoned all of them in his lust for the position of Prime Minister, should see his next volte face come in the form of a trip to the occupation state to pay fealty to the Zionist regime.  Corbyn used to be a man we could respect, but with each capitulation he becomes ever more indistinguishable from the rest of the pampered parasites in parliament.  We would love to have Corbyn prove us wrong by taking a firm stand against Zionism.  He could make a bold statement by outright refusing to join the pilgrimage to the holy site of the Zionist death cult, and by declaring g that a Labour government would recognise the State of Palestine and declare illegal the brutal apartheid regime in Tel Aviv.  We won't hold our breaths.

As Ismail Patel correctly stated in 2008, Zionism has a devastating effect - on everyone.

Modern Zionism is the ideology, a ramified system of organisations and the practical
politics of the wealthy Jewish bourgeoisie which has closely allied itself with monopoly
circles in the USA and other imperialist countries. The main content of Zionism is
bellicose chauvinism and anti-communism.

The Israeli ruling circles are junior partners in the international Zionist concern: this is

indeed one of the most important conditions of their existence as ruling circles. The

"Zionist Concern," represented by the World Zionist Organisation, the World Jewish

Congress, which is really a branch of the former, and numerous of her offshoots, whose

role is sometimes more important than that played by organisations with a signboard at

their entrance, is at the same time one of the world's largest associations of finance

capital, a self-styled global "ministry" for the affairs of "world Jewry," an international

intelligence centre, and a well-run misinformation and propaganda service. The cardinal 

aim of the concern's "departments" whose operations are guided from a single centre, is

amassment of profits and wealth ensuring them power and a parasitical well-being within

the imperialist system. Needless to say, defence and consolidation of imperialism's

positions is part and parcel of this main objective of international Zionism. 

Let us recall what Marx wrote: "Judaism has persisted alongside of Christianity not only

as a religious criticism of Christianity, not only as the embodiment of doubt in the

religious parentage of Christianity, but equally because Judaism has maintained itself,

and even received its supreme development, in Christian society." 

But of course something can only be said to persist provided it has existed up to the

moment when the question of its continued existence or disappearance arises.

Consequently, the concept "Judaism" (emphatically not to be qualified simply as

"bourgeois huckstering") steps across the temporal border of capitalist society and

recedes into the ages.

The term "huckstering" is so adequately defined in the German language that if necessary

it can be used to characterise all the activities conducted by Phoenician, Armenian,

Jewish and other traders of the pre-capitalist epoch. Marx, however, does not do this.

Indeed, one of the reasons why Zionists hate Marx is the fact that apart from having a

collective implication, the concept "Judaism" he introduces contains a definite,

accusatory characterisation of the activity (as the most typical huckstering) of the rulers

of Jewish communities, the direct bearers of Judaism. 

"All over Europe," Lenin wrote, "the decline of medievalism and the development of
political liberty went hand in hand with the political emancipation of the Jews, their
abandonment of Yiddish for the language of the people among whom they lived, and, in
general, their undeniable progressive assimilation with the surrounding population."

Examining this period Leonard Stein states in his Zionism: "The emancipated Jews of the
West could no longer regard themselves as exiles living in a world apart. They had
become firmly rooted in the countries of their birth, to which they were attached, not only
by political allegiance but also by the closest ties of interest and affection. . . . They had
ceased to be simply Jews, and as Englishmen, Frenchmen, Germans, or whatever it might
be, they went their several ways. They could no longer rest content with the old-world
doctrines of the Exile and the Redemption, which envisaged the Jews as the scattered
fragments of a homeless people."

The rapid process of emancipation mentioned by Lenin cut through all obstacles barring
its way and hit hard at Judaism, the mainstay of Jewish bankers, factory-owners and
traders.


In the 1870s the Syrian and Palestine Colonisation Society was founded in England "to
promote the colonisation of Syria and Palestine and the neighbouring countries by
persons of good character, whether Christians or Jews." The time was ripe for the
emergence of Zionism: the time had come when, as the early 20th century Zionist leader
Max Nordau put it, if Zionism had not existed "Great Britain would have had to invent
it."

As we have seen the World Zionist Organisation was founded in 1897. In 1902 the
Jewish Colonial Trust was created, an international Zionist joint-stock company, which
according to Nahum Sokolow "is the financial instrument of the Zionist movement, and
its main object is the industrial and commercial development of Palestine and the
neighbouring countries."

Zionists have always attached the greatest importance to implanting the idea that "antiSemitism is eternal" in the minds of the Jewish working people. The senile Yahweh and
his remiss messenger, evidently disinclined to make his appearance, could not in modern
times fully live up to hopes placed in them (as we have seen, even Zionist leaders
themselves admitted as much). This being the case they turned to anti-Semitism, the
persecution of the Jews, making it their true god, their real hope for success and
Zionism's sole stake in life.

The caste system in Israel is a Zionist instrument for dividing the Israeli working people

by which the ruling class ensures itself freedom of manoeuvre and effective control and

the opportunity to incite and fan racialism spearheaded against the Arabs, a means of

toning down class conflicts in the Jewish community and securing at least a temporary

alliance of all those who in one way or another seek to gain from the persecution of the

Arab minority. 

Arab minority. . . . Let us not mention the time when there were not more than 5,000

Jews in the whole of Palestine, but take the period of the formation of the State of Israel. 

In keeping with the UN decision of November 1947, the State of Israel was set up on a

territory of 14,000 square kilometres with a population (plus or minus 5,000) of

1,100,000 of whom 600,000 were Jews and 500,000 Arabs. 

As a result of the 1948 war Israel annexed 6,000 square kilometres of Arab Palestine with

a population of approximately 400,000.

At the beginning of 1949, according to Israeli data, not more than 160,000 Arabs

remained on the territory of more than 20,000 square kilometres controlled by Israel.

Under what circumstances and whither did more than 700,000 Arabs disappear? 

What became of their immovables? Who uses them? Who owns their land now? How

many of them were shot as a lesson to others refusing to leave their homes? How many

died from disease, hunger, or through not having a roof over their heads?

Let us cite the few facts available from Israeli sources:

The majority of the Arabs were forcibly expelled in the war of 1948 and their villages

were destroyed.

On 5.11.1948 the inhabitants of the village of Iqrit in Western Galilee were expelled by

force.

On 15.11.1948 the village of Kfar Bira'am was evacuated by force.

On 4.2.1949 the inhabitants of the village of Kfar A'nan were evacuated, most of them

expelled across the border. The village was demolished by the army.

On 28.2.1949, 700 Arab refugees were evacuated from the village of Kfar-Yasif (who

settled there after being driven out of their own villages). All were expelled across the

border.

On 24.1.1950 the army evacuated by force the inhabitants of Ghabsiya village who were

expelled across the border.

On 17.8.1950 the inhabitants of the Arab town of Majdal Ashkelon (about 2,000) were

expelled from the country.

Early in February 1951 inhabitants of 13 small Arab villages in Wadi-A'ara were

expelled outside the country.

On 17.11.1951 the village of AI- Bowieshat was demolished by the army and its

inhabitants expelled across the border. 

In September 1953 the inhabitants of the village of Um-El-Faraj were expelled and the

village demolished.

On 29.10.1956 men, women and children in the village of Kfar Kassim were massacred.

The world knows only a fraction of the tragedy of the Arab refugees (the above facts are

only a cross-section of that fraction). But with time all details will come to light. 

The Israeli version of apartheid (Ashkenazim-Sephardim-"goy"-Arab) plus an elaborate system of brutal racial discrimination against the Arabs serve the same purpose. They are a component part of the policy pursued by the Zionist elite of the World Zionist Organisation and Israel in the formation of a so-called centre of influence—a "Jewish centre" (and not the State of Israel inhabited by Israelis).


The leaders of international Zionism can do neither without the ruling class now in power
in Israel, nor without a privileged caste of emigrants from countries where the wealthiest
and politically influential Jews are living (Europe and America). Ostensibly this caste
personifies Israel as a whole, for, according to Zionist psychologists, it is only in the
name of people of their own kind that a specific section of Jews in Europe and America
will continue their donations (i.e., filling the Zionist coffers) and demonstrate their
backing for the idea of "dual citizenship."

This is another important element of the Israeli version of apartheid.

9/11: A Capitalist Crime that has been used as an excuse to Murder Millions.

Seventeen years ago on what was an incredibly hot and sunny day in the UK, the weather was not the major topic of discussion for the weather-obsessed Brits, but rather what was on practically everyone's minds was the horrific events unfolding across the Atlantic Ocean in New York.

On the 11th of September 2001, aeroplanes were crashed into the two World Trade Centre towers, with massive loss of life and with the collapse of not only the towers, but other buildings not hit by the aeroplanes.  The massacre was immediately blamed on Saudi Arabian CIA agent, Osama Bin Laden, and his Al Qaeda (Al CIAda) network of terrorists.

Interestingly, although the blame was lain on a Saudi, the USA did not take the logical step of attacking Saudi Arabia, in order to bring down the brutal regime which sponsors Wahhabi/Salafi terrorism world-wide - and which has since been proven to have been guilty of funding the WTC massacre - but rather, the USA launched an attack upon the nation of Afghanistan, under the pretext that Bin Laden was in that country at the time of the attack!  One man was focused upon.  The organisation he fronted (Al Qaeda) had been created by the USA to undermine the USSR's attempt to defend itself from Islamic terrorists operating on its borders, but was now redefined as a terrorist threat to the USA.  Afghanistan was duly invaded and seventeen years later is still occupied by Yankee imperialists working for the benefit of the global capitalist corporations.  The Taliban had never been a threat to the USA, other than a threat to its criminal trade in heroin, which they had began to disrupt before their country was invaded.  Heroin production and the resulting human misery thus caused is at an all time high thanks to the US occupation - as are the profits of the scum who put money before people and see nothing wrong in the despicable trade in death.

After the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan, came the great lie that Iraq was a terrorist menace and that it too had to be 'liberated' from its legitimate government.  The infamous Weapons of Mass Destruction lie was created - along with the War Criminal Tony Blair's 'dodgy dossier' to justify the destruction of a safe secular country, which seventeen years on is a wasteland, recovering from the US-created Islamic State terrorist regime, which began there as a staging post for the attack on Syria.  Iraq under Saddam Hussein had been a rich and peaceful country, which policed Islamic extremists with the rigour necessary to keep their insanity from corrupting the masses. After Saddam Hussein was illegally judicially murdered by the puppet regime serving the US imperial occupiers, the fundamentalist lunatics were encouraged to grow in strength, and the new bogeyman of IS was the result.

Between the brutal genocidal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the US quietly moved to attack the nation of Yemen for the benefit of the brutal madmen in Saudi Arabia (the kingdom behind 9/11!) The genocide of the Yemen is ongoing although there is virtually a media black out on this tragedy, with most people not even knowing that the country is being obliterated by the House of Saud and its US allies.

The US terror train did not stop in the Middle East, but next went to Africa, interfering in country after country, to ensure that the economic power of the USA was upheld, making a string of African countries vassals of the US Empire in all but name.

Using the pretext of the environmental disaster in Haiti, the USA invaded Haiti in order to 'help' the country to deal with the 'natural' catastrophe besetting it.  Haiti has not since gained real autonomy from the US Empire.  The natural disaster saved the USA from having to create a political pretext for invasion.  In Venezuela, the legitimate Socialist system has been undermined to create great profits for the globalist capitalists, at the same time as great misery for Venezuelans.

Returning to their War OF Terror, the USA returned (although they never left!) to Africa in 2007 to invade Somalia. The result was the fracturing of the country and the explosion in Islamic (Wahhabi) extremism. Somalia became the Islamic State of Africa, all thanks to the supposedly anti-terrorist US intervention!

In 2011, the brutal butchers of the USA, under the order of puppet president Obama, invaded the rich and friendly nation of Libya, the bread basket of Africa and great hope for the continent. The much beloved father of Libya, Muammar Gadaffi, was murdered by the cold blooded butchers of Al Qaeda - the ones hated by the USA for 9/11 but now loved by them as liberators of Libya's oil(!) - and the country ruined.  The Gold Dinar proposed as a currency for an Africa free from the IMF was scrapped, and secular rule was replaced by rival religious terrorist lunacies.  The on-going invasion of Europe by economic migrants and wahhabi terrorists claiming to be 'refugees' was unthinkable with Libya acting as a barrier to them, but under US control it is accelerating for the benefit of global capitalist filth, who trade in human misery and in the destabilisation of the planet to make their misrule harder to fight against. 

Since 2014, the USA has been aiding Al Qaeda terrorists (back in the good books, all is forgiven, 9/11 is in the memory hole!) in their barbaric assault of the free people of Syria. The US creation of Islamic State was spread into Syria from the US base in Iraq.

Seventeen years after 9/11, the US terror machine has broken country after country, creating Islamic terrorist states across the globe. Poverty and the power of the IMF has increased. Manufactured waves of 'refugees' have made Europe unsafe, creating job insecurity which the globalist corporations have exploited to boost their own profits whilst making the indigenous Working Class fear for our futures.  Austerity is a part of the War OF Terror.

In the Ukraine, the US puppet regime has murdered vast numbers of Russians and Free Ukrainians as the US Empire spreads its terrorist army of NATO to the borders of Russia and Belarus.

The world in 2001 was a happier and safer place. The Saudi/US/Global Capitalist menace has destroyed, or is destroying, the following countries using 9/11 as the excuse:

The War OF Terror has created Islamic terrorism on a scale unthinkable before, yet curiously, just as with the fortuitous failure of Israelis to go to work in the WTC on the day of the massacre, Israel itself has not been attacked by the alleged enemies which encircle it!  Israel is the centre of operations of Global Banking Capitalism, adding another dimension to the US terror machine.

Seventeen years have passed since the World Trade Centre Massacre on the 11th September 2001.  The atrocity has been referred to as an event which changed the world, and that certainly is the case.

The world of 11.9.01 was a happier place than the world we live in now.  There were problems, but none as extreme as the ones we accept today as part of normal life.  In Afghanistan, the Taliban government had just scorched all the Opium Poppy fields and it looked as if the scourge of Heroin and its associated crime would become a thing of the past, or at least reduced.  Things were looking good.

Following the 9/11 murders, President Bush Jr announced that a mysterious group known as Al Qaeda had carried out the attacks, and that their leader, a certain Osama Bin Laden, was hiding in Afghanistan.  He maintained that the Taliban were supporters of Bin Laden and that the USA would deal with these killers once and for all.  The problem was that this story was a lie.  Unbeknownst to the world at large, the Taliban had warned the USA about the 9/11 attacks before they occurred.  They were also implacable enemies of Bin Laden who did not trust the man or his version of Islam.  The idea of them harbouring the man the USA claimed was responsible for the attacks was ludicrous.  There must have been an ulterior motive for targeting the Taliban.

The world only had to wait until the next month for the USA to attack Afghanistan, and not much longer to discover the real motive behind the libelling of the Taliban as the 9/11 butchers.  It was, in  a word, Opium. In 1999, NATO had bombed the European nation of Serbia in order to establish the criminal vipers nest of Kosovo.  Kosovo was established to facilitate the importing of Heroin into Europe.  The mercenaries used to defeat the people of Serbia were the terrorists used to undermine the Soviet forces in Afghanistan in the 1980s.  They were designated by their CIA handlers, 'The Cell', or to use the Arabic term, Al Qaeda.  Given their own criminal state in Europe, these vile creatures were responsible for ensuring that Europe was flooded with Heroin; the sale of which would be laundered through the banks.  The destruction of European lives and the vast profit made thereby was interrupted by the Taliban's burning of the Opium fields.

The Taliban had initially made use of Al Qaeda to eject the Soviet imperialists from their country.  As long as they played along with the demands of the criminals in London and Washington DC, the Taliban were left alone to conduct their affairs as they saw fit.  Football stadia were turned into public execution centres for undesirables but the hypocrites of the liberal-Establishment said and did nothing.  As long as the Heroin flowed out of Afghanistan, the rulers could behave as they pleased.  Seventeen years after 9/11, Afghanistan is certainly a different place. The soil is littered with more dead foreign soldiers than the total number murdered in New York City as an excuse to invade that country, and there are well over twelve times that number of dead Afghans.  The country continues to be a battleground with the Afghan Resistance fighting on to liberate their land.  In contrast to 2001, Heroin production is running at near capacity, protected by internationalist servicemen to benefit the political-economic elite and to destroy the home nations.

In 2003 the elusive Bin Laden was forgotten for a while, with the spotlight of the US-UK aggressors being focused on Saddam Hussein in Iraq.  It was alleged that the Iraqi nation was preparing to use 'Weapons of Mass Destruction'  against poor little Israel, and maybe even against targets in Europe .  This was a display of the most outrageous chutzpah by the war-mongers in the internationalist alliance centred on the UK and USA.  The infamous 'dodgy dossier' used by Prime Minister Blair to justify attacking Iraq was a complete forgery.  Even after the forgery was finally admitted, the aggression continued.

Iraq was an advanced nation which could trace its civilisation back to Babylon and Sumeria.  It was rich in culture and had vast oil reserves.  President Saddam Hussein had fought against Islamic extremism in Iraq, maintaining near secular rule, and even having Christians such as Tariq Aziz in his Government.  As part of his campaign against extremism he had waged war in the Kurdish Northwest of Iraq, murdering 182,000 people in the 1980s.  Alike to neighbouring Turkey where Kurds were also butchered, these crimes against humanity were conducted unhindered by the UK-USA cabal. Turkey continues to this day to butcher the people of Kurdistan, but like Iraq was, Turkey is an ally of the USA and allowed to murder at will.

Saddam Hussein prevented the rise of Wahhabi/Salafi Islam in Iraq, understanding that it would threaten the balance of Sunnis and Shi'ites.  He had commissioned research into the origins of the Wahhabists and found evidence proving they were a sect of non-Muslim origin which had infiltrated Islam with the objective of perverting and destroying the religion.  They were proscribed in Iraq and the Baghdad government had begun circulating information exposing the truth of the sect, and of Al Qaeda's ties to the USA.  Attempts to link Bin Laden and Hussein were as ridiculous as the WMD story, and equally deceitful.

The UK-USA coalition have systematically stripped Iraq of anything of economic value.  They have stolen the invaluable ancient Cuneiform Library (much still to be translated).  They have also taken control of oil production, which was the major reason for the invasion, rather than the nonsense of phantom WMDs.  Much has changed in Iraq since 11.9.01.  In 2001 Iraq was a vibrant modern nation, rich in culture and resources, with a tough ruler but one who maintained order for the majority; much of it now resembles a wasteland with depleted uranium scattered across the country from coalition artillery.  The death toll for the invaders runs to nearly 5000; for the inhabitants of Iraq, the death toll stands at a staggering quarter of a million ordinary Iraqi civilians murdered by the invaders or killed as a consequence of the invasion.  Is it any wonder that the people in neighbouring Iran are wary of the USA? Donald Trump's intermittent slandering of Iran and thinly veiled threats, do not help!

Public opposition to the Iraq invasion saw massive protests across Europe and elsewhere.  In order to keep people terrified by the spectre of Islamic extremism, on the 12th March 2004 Madrid was bombed (exactly 911 days after 9/11), followed on the 7th July 2004 by another copycat atrocity in London and then on the 1st October 2005 in Bali, bringing the fear of Islamic extremism to Australians.  Every case mirrored the 9/11 massacre insofar as Muslim extremists were blamed and ordinary civilians were murdered by agents working for their own governments.

As well as fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq, the 'internationalist brigade' of the USA/UK and others, has been active in Somalia, the Sudan and other nations.  Using the pretext of fighting a War on terror, the globalists have no compunction about invading sovereign nations and initiating 'regime change' to replace governments who resist the globalist cabal, with compliant stooges.  This is done in the name of democracy, and scarcely anyone in the mainstream media remarks on the total hypocrisy of the rulers in London and their partners-in-crime.

Public dissent has become all but a criminal offence in many countries.  It has become common place for whistle blowers to die in mysterious circumstances, such as was the case with Dr David Kelly who questioned the London regime's WMD fantasy and was found dead shortly after.  His case has become one of many.  In 2001, one could be forgiven for believing that the UK was a free country; only a fool would believe that now.

Our streets are covered by a sea of CCTV cameras; our Police are armed with every non-lethal gadget imaginable (although many have died from Police use of these weapons); the everyday happy-go-lucky Briton of 2001 is a shadow of his or her former self, replaced by a timid and fearful soul who dare not use politically incorrect language or offer a serious opinion on any matter lest he or she be dragged off in the night.  This is not an exaggeration, if anything it downplays the tyranny in the UK.

In 2001 it took a contrived tale of a bogeyman in a cave to scare people into accepting war.  As we have seen by the invasion of Libya, and the involvement of UK military forces in attacking free Syria, the people will now accept any aggression without anything more than a tabloid færytale.  In Libya, tens of thousands of people have been murdered by NATO and their NTC stooges; this figure is an estimate from the NTC and certainly will not include the Black Africans butchered by the racists allied to NATO.  Ironically, the NTC contains Al Qaeda mercenaries.  Yes, the very same people who we are still told we are at war with.  In topsy turvy post 9/11 reality, what would provoke outrage in 2001 barely raises a murmur.  People have learnt to keep quiet and only have interest in trivial matters such as Reality TV, Celebrities and Sport.

Another result of the 9/11 New York Massacre has been the dæmonisation of Muslims.  Every Muslim is now perceived as a potential extremist.  There is no understanding that the Wahabbists of Al Qaeda (our allies in Libya!) are loathed by decent Muslims and are far from representative of Islam as a whole.  Groups such as the pro-Israel, English Defence League were created post-9/11 as anti-Muslim distractions, ramming Zionist propaganda into the minds of dis-satisfied English youths.  The EDL is all but gone, and in its place there are myriad grouplets of competing fantasists who imagine themselves as soldiers winning the Battle of Stalingrad, and Muslim-hating Zionists who cannot defend European Culture because they do not understand it.

In 2001 Europe and the USA were respected by the world, and the people were generally free to speak as they found.  As a direct result of the 9/11 Massacre, our nations have become Police States with total surveillance in all matters.  Criticism of authority has become equated with terrorism.  Fearful self-censorship has replaced freedom of expression.  Perpetual War has become a reality.  The upshot for the economy?  The richest people in society have profited massively from the theft of resources and commodities in occupied lands; the rest of us are suffering economic hardships which we would not have imagined possible in 2001.

2018 is not only seventeen years after 2001, it is a world apart, and not for the better.  Imperialist wars have made the world a much more dangerous place.  The global cabal could not have achieved the occupation of Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya without the staged 9/11 attacks; nor could  Israel have continued its occupation of Judea and Samaria, and its siege of Gaza.  The prospect of a One World State is becoming a reality; bombed into place by NATO.  Without the 9/11 justification all this would have been much harder to accomplish.

Lest we forget the human face of the soldiers killed to further the interests of global finance, pictures of the British dead in Afghanistan and Iraq can be found here. These are joined by fellow Britons in the wars in Libya and elsewhere.  Others have died, not to mention servicemen from the USA and around the globe.  They died not in vain, but worse, for the global Ruling Class to gain more control over the Working Class worldwide.

Dying in vain is bad enough, but these men and women have died in order to extend the grip of power of the global financial parasite class; they have died as casualties in a war to crush freedom the world over, and they were unwittingly on the side of the enemies of humanity.  They are victims of globalism in a similar manner to the people they were fighting.  Similar, but not the same, as the people attacked by the globalist forces died fighting for freedom, or were simply murdered in cold blood without any justification.  'Our' soldiers are fighting for capitalism, and anyone who supports them in any way except demanding they come home, is an accomplice in the global march to serfdom for all except the self-perpetuating Ruling Class.

2.4 million people have been murdered as a result of the initial 9/11 massacre.  That is the reality of Capitalism.  Millions have been displaced, including those who have entered Europe as refugees and economic migrants.

Theresa May, Tony Blair, David Cameron, and the rest of the crocodile tear politicians, have the blood of millions on their hands. The attack on freedom through the IHRA definition of anti-semitism, serves to criminalise criticism of the forces behind 9/11 and the resulting wars.

There is no place for Zionists in the British Isles Expel them all, and those who collaborate with them

Since the ascent of the Democratic Socialist, Jeremy Corbyn, to the leadership of the Labour Party, Israeli sayanim and their willing stooges of all origins, have been gunning for Corbyn, twisting his pro-Palestinian beliefs into allegations of hostility to the existence of the racist apartheid entity which illegally occupies Palestinian soil.  Corbyn's crime is arguing against Israeli tyranny.  The liars in the media have accused him of anti-Semitism, but this is pure fabrication.  Corbyn is completely anti-racist.  His anti-racism includes opposition to the Israeli menace which is founded on and operates by a dogma of absolute Jewish supremacy, seeing itself as a land given by some mythical 'god' as a gift by virtue of the Hebrew nation being 'special' and 'chosen'.

The Labour Party has shamefully accepted the  International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, in a SECRET BALLOT (how democratic!) of Labour MPs, in which 205 cowardly puppets of Israel voted in favour, whilst 12 spoiled their ballots and a mere 8 had the honour and decency to vote against.  This is a moment of shame for Labour, and for the entire political system in Westminster and its satellites.   The IHRA document forbids criticism of Israeli theft of Palestinian land, and the murder of Palestinian civilians in their own country by followers of a Racist, Schizophrenic, Deranged ideology (Zionism), based on a religion of bigotry and total xenophobia (Judaism).  The document has been adopted by the following countries:

• End the London City State,making it 100% part of Britain
• Immediately recognise Palestine

Zionist Crimes in Palestine 

The Zionist crimes in Palestine came to prominence in 1917 with the Balfour Declaration. The British Empire had lost the Great War. Germany had offered to declare the War over and to return the European continent to the situation before the War, with no-one benefiting form the conflict. The British Government refused to take up this magnanimous offer, which would have saved the lives of many men and women from both sides. Instead, British Foreign Secretary, Arthur James Balfour, wrote a begging letter, known subsequently as the Balfour Declaration, to the infamous banker, Lord Rothschild, committing the British Empire to the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. In return, the Rothschild banking dynasty funded the British war against Europe and the ongoing carnage which ensued.

Following the Second World War, Zionist atrocities in Palestine were increased in ferocity and frequency, culminating in the 1945-48 War. During that war, over 1,000 British men and women were butchered. The British Ruling Class is thoroughly Zionised

The post-1933 NSDAP - a Zionist instrument? 

Was Hitler a Zionist? Was Europe duped by the Zionist elite into fighting a war for her own destruction? Were we herded like cattle in a manner deserving the epithet 'Goyim'?

Would the Zionist elite take a natural hostility of Europeans to Usury and turn it into a vehicle of repression and discrimination against the Working Class Jews of Europe, in order to achieve their long sought after goal of the creation of Israel as a base to gain mastery of the world? Would the Zionist Ruling Class use a puppet regime under the Hitlerists to destroy the Jewish resistance to Zionism?  In what is termed the 'Holocaust', rich Jews emigrated to Palestine and elsewhere, but poor Jews were sent to Concentration Camps.  Would Zionists sacrifice the Working Class Jews in Europe, then hiding behind the same Jewish label, capture Palestine for the Rich (mainly atheist, and ethnically questionably Jewish) Zionist criminals?  Considering how they have brutalised Palestine, of course they would - and of course they did.

German Socialism under leaders such as the Strassers, was the ideology of a radical republican workers movement. After the 1934 murders of the Socialist leaders, the NSDAP moved from a movement for the social well-being of the people into a military formation.  The Strasserites were not racists.  Like the National Bolsheviks of Ernst Niekisch and the thinker, Ernst Junger, the philosophy was what was good for the Workers - Hitlerism became what was good for the Capitalists.  Hitler was good for Zionism, the Strasserites were good for all the Working Class, regardless of origin or faith - that is why the Socialist NSDAP was liquidated and replaced by the National Capitalist Zionist terror state.

Corbyn's Folly - Apologising to Zionists

Corbyn has spoken about the machinations of Zionism.  Now the Zionists are coming for him.  They are liars who are scared of a Labour Leader who is willing to discuss the Zionist deals with the Hitlerist Nazis.  They want a leader who will serve Israel, unquestioningly; a leader who will ignore the crimes against Palestine; a leader who will pay lip service to Socialism, but in the implementation of policies, will be a toady to Capitalism.

The Zionists WILL destrpy Corbyn.  His weakness will see to that.  When he is gone, a neo-Blairite will be put in charge and Zionist rule will be back with a vengeance.  When that happens, good Socialists in the Labour Party who are anti-Zionist, will need a new home.  They are welcome to apply to SMPBI.

Stand by Palestine. No to the bigotry of Zionist Israel's front - the IHCR

The Zionist viper and Labour MP, Margaret Hodge, is attacking Jeremy Corbyn - her own party leader - for the unspeakable crime of not incorporating into the Labour Party, the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's full definition of anti-semitism.  The IHCR is a Zionist outfit which, like the ADL in the USA, exists to crush all criticism of Israel.  Corbyn is right to not incorporate a document which would silence all opinions about the Zionist entity, other than grovelling sycophantic ones, such as expressed by the Conservative Party 'Friends of Israel.

Since the Zionist Minister, Balfour, in the British Government of 1917, issued his infamous Declaration promising the land of the Palestinians to a people with no legitimate claim to the territory, the Palestinians have been a people whose suffering has been endorsed by the international community.  The likes of Hodge seek to end all support for the Palestinian people - and at a time when the Tel Aviv regime has officially endorsed racist apartheid policies which deny rights to anyone except Jewish citizens of 'israel'.

Just short of sixty-seven years after the issuing of the Balfour Declaration, the civilised and proud nation of Palestine has been utterly destroyed by the Zionist invaders, and the IHCR dares to label anyone who is opposed to the genocide of the Semitic people (Palestinians), 'anti-semitic'. 

Contrary to the lies of the Zionist Establishment, the land upon which Israel was built, was not 'a land without a people', but rather was very much populated.  Palestine was a vibrant nation which, alongside the Lebanon, more greatly resembled the nations of the Mediterranean than those to its east.  When one sees images of the devastated Gaza Strip and the impoverished West Bank, one is not seeing the true Palestine, which was an honourable and cultured land.

The Zionist mafia literally bombed Israel into existence, terrorising the indigenous people into fleeing from their homes.  The Deir Yassin massacre was typical of the outrages committed against the  Palestinian people.  The ferocity of the Zionist terrorists was not limited to murdering Palestinians, as even the British who had promised a country which didn't belong to them, were slaughtered in the King David Hotel.  One cannot really feel sorry for the deaths of the British military who had no business in Palestine anyway, but the outrages against the native people were as inexcusable as the inaction of the West which was tantamount to approval of the anti-human crimes.

In 1967, the beleaguered Palestinians were subjected to further brutality by the Zionist entity with the invasion of the last parts of their nation which were annexed to expand the Jewish state beyond the frontiers which the Zionist Fifth Columnists in Westminster had given them.  The West Bank is known to Zionists as Judæa and Samaria, and the occupation is seen as a liberation of Jewish land from non-Jews.  The treatment of the indigenous population as sub-humans is pure racism.  The daily deprivation, humiliation and persecution of the Palestinian people extends beyond the use of internal passports, the demolition of property and the army brutality.  The so-called Separation Wall is a constant reminder of the Zionist mentality.  The Wall is not a border, but a temporary device to keep the Jewish state 'pure'; it will be moved further into Arab lands as the Jewish imperialists encroach on more land which they have no right to.

There is a poem by Martin Niemöller which is often repeated by Holocaust-believers to inculcate shame and guilt in the minds of ordinary Europeans who were in any case in no way to blame for Jews being gassed in the Holocaust, as indeed no one was, since there were no Gas Chambers: it didn't happen!  The poem in English states:

'When the Nazis came for the Communists I remained silent.  I wasn't a Communist.  When they came for the incurably sick I remained silent.  I wasn't incurably sick' [when they came for the Trades Unionists, Social Democrats, Jews etc etc]...'When they came for me, there was no one to speak out'

This propaganda piece has been used to extend the stranglehold of the Zionist power and to justify the persecution of the Palestinians.  There are people who argue that the Palestinian struggle is no concern of anyone outside the region.  This is simply not so.  They came for Africa, whose people they enslaved and sold as animals, then they came for Europe and the European daughter nations which they poisoned with liberalism, multiculturalism and usury; they came for Islam with the Wahhabi heresy; now they are coming for the entire world.  Palestine is a testing ground for Zionism, just as the North of Ireland has been a testing ground for the British terrorist state.  The struggle for Palestine is a key part of the struggle for freedom worldwide.

The færy tale story that the current inhabitants of Israel have a right to be there because their ancestors were there 2000 years ago is built on fantasy.  Palestine belongs to the Palestinians, no matter what a work of superstitious fiction, written 2-3,000 years ago by racist bigots with an insane belief in a racial supremacy granted by one of their 'gods' claims.

It is an outrage that the Zionist politicians in Westminster have a policy of mixing peoples from every corner of the globe is negated when it suits them, especially when the racist Netanyahu presides over open Apartheid on occupied Palestinian soil, and the IHCR pushes a definition of 'anti-semitism' which makes pointing out this fact, a crime.  Europe was a land almost exclusively for Europeans within the living memory of some of our people.  By Zionist logic, it should forever be our land by right of our connection to the soil.  This view is classed as 'racist' when applied to the British Isles, but as 'holy' when applied to Palestine.  Palestine has always been the home of the Palestinians, and always should be.   Imperialism and genocide are unacceptable regardless of who is the perpetrator.  This goes for the occupiers of Palestine as much as it goes for the now thankfully dead 'British' Empire.

Albert Einstein

Einstein denied any superior rights for Jews, calling for "complete equality" for Palestinians as the "most important aspect" of Jewish policy, saying: "The most important aspect of our policy must be our ever-present, manifest desire to institute complete equality for the Arab citizens living in our midst ... The attitude we adopt toward the Arab minority will provide the real test of our moral standards as a people." Only cooperation with Arabs, led by "educated, spiritually alert" Jewish workers, he wrote, "can create a dignified and safe life." He also said, "What saddens me is less the fact that the Jews are not smart enough to understand this, but rather, that they are not smart enough to want it."

Sigmund Freud

Isaac Asimov

Asimov commented on Zionism in I. Asimov, his third autobiographical volume. Asimov mentioned his distress at the capability of the historically oppressed (such as the Jews) to in turn become oppressors if given the chance. Asimov wrote: “Right now, there is an influx of Soviet Jews into Israel. They are fleeing because they expect religious persecution. Yet at the instant their feet touched Israeli soil, they became extreme Israeli nationalists with no pity for the Palestinians. From persecuted to persecutors in the blinking of an eye.”

Sir Edwin Montagu 

Montagu was the second British Jew to enter the Cabinet, the inner circle of British government. However, he was strongly opposed to Zionism, which he called "a mischievous political creed, untenable by any patriotic citizen of the United Kingdom." He also opposed the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which he considered to be antisemitic and whose terms he managed to modify. (Montagu was probably responsible for inserting the provision in the Balfour Declaration that said: "Nothing shall be done that may prejudice the civil and religious rights of the existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.") In a memo to the Cabinet, he outlined his accurate understanding of the Balfour Declaration: "...I assume that it means that Mahommedans [Muslims] and Christians are to make way for the Jews and that the Jews should be put in all positions of preference... When the Jews are told that Palestine is their national home, every country will immediately desire to get rid of its Jewish citizens, and you will find a population in Palestine driving out its present inhabitants, taking all the best in the country..."

Martin Buber

The establishment of a Jewish state, the philosopher Martin Buber feared, would mean "premeditated national suicide." He believed strongly that the most important possibility for Zionism was in changing the relationships between people. He wrote powerfully in favor of Arab rights in Palestine. Even in later years, he worked for the establishment of a joint Arab-Jewish state. Professor Shemuel Hugo Bergman said that with Dr. Buber's death, "humanity has lost one of its greatest sons, Jewry has lost its greatest son, and Israel has lost her living conscience."

Ben Ehrenreich 

The fate Buber foresaw is upon us: a nation that has lived in a state of war for decades, a quarter-million Arab citizens with second-class status and more than five million Palestinians deprived of the most basic political and human rights. If two decades ago comparisons to the South African apartheid system felt like hyperbole, they now feel charitable. The white South African regime, for all its crimes, never attacked the Bantustans with anything like the destructive power Israel visited on Gaza in December and January, when nearly1,300 Palestinians were killed, one-third of them children.

Hannah Arendt

Arendt in "Zionism Reconsidered," written in 1944 before the creation of the modern state of Israel, predicted the Nakba, unending conflict, Zionist dependence on the American Jewish community that would ultimately conflict with that community, and the contribution of political Zionism to worldwide anti-Semitism. She wrote: "Nationalism is bad enough when it trusts in nothing but the rude force of the nation. A nationalism that necessarily and admittedly depends upon the force of a foreign nation is certainly worse. This is the threatened state of Jewish nationalism and of the proposed Jewish state, surrounded inevitably by Arab states and Arab people. Even a Jewish majority in Palestine–nay even a transfer of all Palestine’s Arabs, which is openly demanded by the revisionists–would not substantially change a situation in which Jews must either ask protection from an outside power against their neighbors or come to a working agreement with their neighbors… The Zionists, if they continue to ignore the Mediterranean people and watch out only for the big faraway powers, will appear only as their tools, the agents of foreign and hostile interests. Jews who know their own history should be aware that such a state of affairs will inevitably lead to a new wave of Jew-hatred; the antisemitism of tomorrow will assert that Jews not only profiteered from the presence of foreign big powers in that region but had actually plotted it and hence are guilty of the consequences… Only folly could dictate a policy which trusts a distant imperial power for protection, while alienating the goodwill of neighbors. What then, one is prompted to ask, will be the future policy of Zionism with respect to big powers, and what program will Zionists have to offer for a solution of the Arab-Jewish conflict?… If a Jewish commonwealth is obtained in the near future–with or without partition–it will be due to the political influence of American Jews… But if the Jewish commonwealth is proclaimed against the will of the Arabs and without the support of the Mediterranean peoples, not only financial help but political support will be necessary for a long time to come. And that may turn out to be very troublesome indeed for Jews in this country [the U.S.], who after all have no power to direct the political destinies of the Near East. It may eventually be far more of a responsibility than today they imagine or tomorrow can make good."

Four years later, in 1948, Arendt accurately predicted what would happen if Israeli Jews were to prove victorious in battle: "And even if the Jews were to win the war, its end would find the unique possibilities and the unique achievements of Zionism in Palestine destroyed. The land that would come into being would be something quite other than the dream of world Jewry, Zionist and non-Zionist. The ‘victorious’ Jews would live surrounded by an entirely hostile Arab population, secluded into ever-threatened borders, absorbed with physical self-defense to a degree that would submerge all other interests and activities. The growth of a Jewish culture would cease to be the concern of the whole people; social experiments would have to be discarded as impractical luxuries; political thought would center around military strategy… And all this would be the fate of a nation that — no matter how many immigrants it could still absorb and how far it extended its boundaries (the whole of Palestine and Transjordan is the insane Revisionist demand)–would still remain a very small people greatly outnumbered by hostile neighbors. Under such circumstances… the Palestinian Jews would degenerate into one of those small warrior tribes about whose possibilities and importance history has amply informed us since the days of Sparta. Their relations with world Jewry would become problematical, since their defense interests might clash at any moment with those of other countries where large number of Jews lived. Palestine Jewry would eventually separate itself from the larger body of world Jewry and in its isolation develop into an entirely new people. Thus it becomes plain that at this moment and under present circumstances a Jewish state can only be erected at the price of the Jewish homeland…

Jacques Derrida

Israel Shahak

Shahak...opposed racism and oppression in any form and in any country. After being liberated from the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945, Shahak and his mother emigrated to Palestine. He went on to have a distinguished career as a professor of chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and was repeatedly voted as the most admired teacher by students. Following the 1967 war, Shahak became a leading member of the Israeli League for Human and Civil Rights and was elected chairman in 1970. He devoted the rest of his life to opposing Israel’s inhumane treatment inflicted upon its Arab citizens and upon Palestinians in the occupied territories. Shahak's obituary in The Guardian of London notes that "Shortly after the 1967 six-day war, he concluded from observation that Israel was not yet a democracy; it was treating the newly occupied Palestinians with shocking brutality. For the next three decades, he spent all his spare time on attempts to change this. He contributed to various small papers, but when this proved to have little impact, he decided to alert journalists, academics and human rights campaigners abroad. From his small, bare West Jerusalem flat poured forth reports with titles such as 'Torture in Israel,' and 'Collective Punishment in the West Bank.' Based exclusively on mainstream Israeli sources, all were painstakingly translated into English." In Jewish History, Jewish Religion, Shahak pointed out that while Islamic fundamentalism is vilified in the West, Jewish fundamentalism goes largely ignored. He also argued that classical Judaism is used to justify Israeli policies which he viewed as xenophobic and similar in nature to the anti-Semitism suffered by Jews in other times and places. Nowhere could this be seen more clearly, in his view, than in Jewish attitudes to the non-Jewish peoples of Israel and the Middle East.

Erich Fried

Due to his encounters with Nazism and anti-Semitism Erich Fried became an outspoken voice in the West German anti-Vietnam war movement. His experiences with racism and fascism led him to take up verbal cudgels against Zionism and to support the Palestinians, who, like himself, had been driven from their native land into exile. In his poem "Hear, O Israel!" he asks his fellow Jews: "When we were the oppressed, I was one with you, but how can we remain one now that you have become the oppressor?"

Erich Fromm

Erich Fromm, an eminent scholar and author, argued that Palestinian Arabs had a much more legitimate claim to ownership of the land than the Jews: "The claim of the Jews to the Land of Israel cannot be a realistic political claim. If all nations would suddenly claim territories in which their forefathers lived two thousand years ago, this world would be a madhouse."

Franz Kafka

Franz Kafka was very critical of Zionism. According to Philip Weiss, “Kafka was against political Zionism because he understood it would transform the Jewish presence in society. It would make Jews the administrators of a nation rather than inhabitants of one. I think he anticipated that Jewish nationalism would call on the worst aspects of Jewish society.”

Richard Falk

Richard Falk is the UN special rapporteur on human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. He is professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University and the author of more than 50 books on war, human rights and international law. In a statement issued by the UN, “Gaza: Silence Is Not An Option,” he called Israeli policies in the Occupied Territories “a crime against humanity.” Falk also has compared Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians to the Nazi treatment of the Jews and has said, “I think the Palestinians stand out as the most victimized people in the world.”

Uri Avnery

Avnery wrote that after an Israeli military victory, “What will be seared into the consciousness of the world will be the image of Israel as a blood-stained monster, ready at any moment to commit war crimes and not prepared to abide by any moral restraints. This will have severe consequences for our long-term future, our standing in the world, our chance of achieving peace and quiet. In the end, this war is a crime against ourselves too, a crime against the State of Israel.”

Noam Chomsky

There is good reason to believe that he [Uri Avnery] is right. Israel is deliberately turning itself into one of the most hated countries in the world, and is also losing the allegiance of the population of the West, including younger American Jews, who are unlikely to tolerate its persistent shocking crimes for long. Decades ago, I wrote that those who call themselves “supporters of Israel” are in reality supporters of its moral degeneration and probable ultimate destruction. Regrettably, that judgment looks more and more plausible. Meanwhile we are quietly observing a rare event in history, what the late Israeli sociologist Baruch Kimmerling called “politicide,” the murder of a nation — at our hands.

Norman Finkelstein

Professor Norman Finkelstein...has called Israel a "lunatic state" for murdering peace activists. He has also asked very difficult questions about Israel and U.S. support of Israel: "I have to ask a simple question: which leader of another American ally has appointed a man who favors genocide and ethnic cleansing as the deputy speaker of the legislature? Which other democracy has legitimate political parties in the governing coalition calling for permanent occupation of a neighboring state – and deliberate social engineering to create a new demographic ethnic reality in that conquered land? Putin’s Russia has not sunk that low. And we are not merely talking about a hypothetical situation. The grotesque death toll from Gaza is a distillation of this mindset – revealing at best a chilling contempt for Arab life and at worst, with the shelling of schools and shelters, a policy of indiscriminate hatred and revenge. Yes, killing women and children in shelters is about as low as you can get in wartime. As the State Department, in a rare moment of public candor, noted, it is appalling and disgraceful. To see in front of one’s nose is a constant struggle. But I see evil in front of noses here – and evil that is gaining strength because of willful American blindness."

Israel continues to mock its American patron, building illegal settlements in cynical disregard of the “road map.” The President of the United States of America has been reduced to a ventriloquist’s dummy, pitifully reciting the Israeli cabinet line: “It’s all Arafat’s fault.” ... Anyone who supposes that [ethnic cleansing] is unthinkable above all for a Jewish state has not been watching the steady accretion of settlements and land seizures in the West Bank over the past quarter-century, or listening to generals and politicians on the Israeli right, some of them currently in government. The middle ground of Israeli politics today is occupied by the Likud. Its major component is the late Menachem Begin’s Herut Party. Herut is the successor to Vladimir Jabotinsky’s interwar Revisionist Zionists, whose uncompromising indifference to legal and territorial niceties once attracted from left-leaning Zionists the epithet “fascist.” When one hears Israel’s deputy prime minister, Ehud Olmert, proudly insist that his country has not excluded the option of assassinating the elected president of the Palestinian Authority, it is clear that the label fits better than ever. Political murder is what fascists do.

I have now been called antisemitic and intellectually unstable and a whole bunch of other silly things by the folks over at the Commentary blog. They want Time Magazine to fire or silence me. This is happening because I said something that is palpably true, but unspoken in polite society: There is a small group of Jewish neoconservatives who unsuccessfully tried to get Benjamin Netanyahu to attack Saddam Hussein in the 1990s, and then successfully helped provide the intellectual rationale for George Bush to do it in 2003. Their motivations involve a confused conflation of what they think are Israel’s best interests with those of the United States. They are now leading the charge for war with Iran.

Roger Cohen

Perhaps I have a bias toward facts over words, but I say the reality of Iranian civility toward Jews tells us more about Iran “its sophistication and culture” than all the inflammatory rhetoric. That may be because I’m a Jew and have seldom been treated with such consistent warmth as in Iran. Or perhaps I was impressed that the fury over Gaza, trumpeted on posters and Iranian TV, never spilled over into insults or violence toward Jews. Or perhaps it’s because I’m convinced the “Mad Mullah” caricature of Iran and likening of any compromise with it to Munich 1938 — a position popular in some American Jewish circles — is misleading and dangerous.

Israel’s relentless drive to establish “facts on the ground” in the occupied West Bank, a drive that continues in violation of even the limited settlement freeze to which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu committed himself, seems finally to have succeeded in locking in the irreversibility of its colonial project. As a result of that “achievement,” one that successive Israeli governments have long sought in order to preclude the possibility of a two-state solution, Israel has crossed the threshold from “the only democracy in the Middle East” to the only apartheid regime in the Western world. The inevitability of such a transformation has been held out not by “Israel bashers” but by the country’s own leaders. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon referred to that danger, as did Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who warned that Israel could not escape turning into an apartheid state if it did not relinquish “almost all the territories, if not all,” including the Arab parts of East Jerusalem.

Elmer Berger

Throughout his adult life Rabbi Elmer Berger’s definition of Judaism did not vary. In the introduction to his book A Partisan History of Judaism he wrote: “There are those who see Judaism as ‘the religion of the Jewish People.’ This book will not please them. For it indicates, unmistakably, that the origins of Judaism were not in ‘the Jewish people’ and that the best and finest of Judaism today transcends the Jewish people.” At the end of this same book, Elmer Berger succinctly gave his definition: “Judaism is to do justice and to have mercy and to walk humbly with God; and all the rest is commentary and of secondary importance.” It was from this perspective that Elmer Berger carefully and specifically documented his case against Zionism and against the oppressive character of the Zionist state. He called upon the state of Israel to de-Zionize, i.e. to cease being an exclusivist Jewish state granting by law rights and privileges to Jews not granted to non-Jews. He beseeched the state of Israel to develop as a truly democratic state, to be just and merciful to all people and thus to walk humbly with God.

Arthur Hays Sulzberger

Arthur Hays Sulzberger, the publisher of The New York Times from 1935-1961, claimed that Zionism was to blame for some of the Jewish deaths in the Holocaust. He alleged in a 1946 speech that the refugee crisis during the war had been “a manageable, social and economic problem” until “the clamor for statehood introduced an insoluble political element” into the issue. “It is my judgment that thousands dead might now be alive” if “the Zionists” had put “less emphasis on statehood,” Sulzberger asserted. While this claim may seem outrageous, letters and statements by Zionist leaders such as Chaim Weizmann and Golda Meir do make it seem that the overriding goal of a Jewish state made individual lives secondary. For instance, Golda Meir instructed that only healthy Jews should be allowed to emigrate to Palestine, at a time when many Holocaust survivors were far from healthy.

Lessing J. Rosenwald

In 1944, Lessing J. Rosenwald, president of the American Council for Judaism and chairman of Sears, Roebuck & Company, equated the Zionist ideal of Jewish statehood with "the concept of a racial state -- the Hitlerian concept." 

Judge Richard Goldstone

Pursuing justice in this case [the charge of war crimes committed by the Israeli Defense Force] is essential because no state or armed group should be above the law. Western governments in particular face a challenge because they have pushed for accountability in places like Darfur, but now must do the same with Israel, an ally and a democratic state. Failing to pursue justice for serious violations during the fighting will have a deeply corrosive effect on international justice, and reveal an unacceptable hypocrisy. As a service to the hundreds of civilians who needlessly died and for the equal application of international justice, the perpetrators of serious violations must be held to account.
