Victory for Sanity in Belarus

With the results still to be officially declared, all indications are that the attempted colour revolution in Belarus has failed, and sanity has prevailed.

President Lukashenko has led Belarus through times of immense upheaval in the region. In neighbouring Ukraine, the western colour revolution has turned the former Soviet state into a vassal of the EU and a puppet of liberal globalism. The east of the country which has resisted the liberal lunacy has been subjected to years of siege and warfare. The same criminals who have ruined the Ukraine have turned their attention to Belarus, with the usual tactics of painting the democratically elected Socialist government as a dictatorship which brutalises its people. All that is missing from the propaganda is accusations of Weapons of Mass Destruction!

The attempts to foment civil war in Belarus have failed. The people who suffered the tragedy of the loss of an immense number of the population during the Great Patriotic War have a bond of friendship with neighbouring Russia which the attacks by the BBC, CNN, Soros Foundation etc, have been unable to break. Paid agents of global capitalism - the so-called 'protesters' - have been seen for the stooges of global finance imperialism which they are. The propaganda attacks on Belarus have been designed to reduce Belarus into another Ukraine: alienated from Russia; easy fr NATO to absorb; easy prey to the imperialist ambitions of the European Union.

The Socialist Motherland Party extends its congratulations to President Lukashenko in returning to the presidency, and to the people of the proud and free nation of Belarus in withstanding the onslaught of lies from the capitalist regimes in Europe, North America, etc.

The Victory of Sanity in Belarus is a Victory for Freedom everywhere.
