Socialist Quotes for Sunday Reflection pt 118

“You've got that eternal idiotic idea that if anarchy came it would come from the poor. Why should it? The poor have been rebels, but they have never been anarchists; they have more interest than anyone else in there being some decent government. The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all. Aristocrats were always anarchists”

- G.K. Chesterton , The Man Who Was Thursday

“Commerce is, in its essence, satanic. Commerce is the repayment of what was loaned, it is the loan made with the stipulation: Pay me more than I give you.”

— Baudelaire, Mon cœur mis à nu

“The immoral sexual behavior of students, who are influenced by capitalist lifestyles, has become a problem”

“The committee defined sexual promiscuity among teenagers as a treasonous act that helps the enemy to destroy our society."

- Kim Jong Un

They should resolutely smash the imperialist moves to infiltrate us ideologically and culturally. The enemy are infiltrating corrupt recordings and publications into our country and widely propagating all sorts of viruses of corrupt ideology in an attempt to make our young people ideologically degenerate and alienate them from our Party. The main target of the enemy’s manoeuvres for ideological and cultural infiltration is our young people of a new generation. If the young people succumb, it cannot be interpreted otherwise than as an act of betrayal and treachery to the Party and revolution and benefiting the enemy. They should have a clear understanding of the true nature of the enemy’s moves for ideological and cultural infiltration and their danger, never become involved in such acts, and resolutely frustrate any involvement by always standing alert to them and combating them. They should staunchly oppose and reject delinquent and all other non-socialist practices that tarnish the image of socialism and undermine our system.

"When the farthest corner of the globe has been conquered technologically and can be exploited economically; when any incident you like, in any place you like, at any time you like, becomes accessible as fast as you like; when you can simultaneously "experience" an assassination attempt against a king in France and a symphony concert in Tokyo; when time is nothing but speed, instantaneity, and simultaneity, and time as history has vanished from all Being of all peoples; when a boxer counts as the great man of a people; when the tallies of millions at mass meetings are a triumph; then, yes then, there still looms like a spectre over all this uproar the question: what for? — where to? — and what then? "

 - Martin Heidegger

“It actually perfectly corresponds to a fool's game that dates from the 19th century, when the radical-socialists of the Third Republic made sure to neutralise, by accepting the constitutional and electoral game, the revolutionary ardour of true French socialists, the heirs of Proudhon and Blanqui, marked by the beautiful dream of the Commune of Paris. These men and these women (honour to Louise Michel!) that the Versailles bourgeoisie treated disdainfully as “Communards,” embodied a political tradition that, as Alain de Benoist recalled 'implied both the refusal of the exploitation of labour, predatory selfishness, and nihilistic pleasure seeking, and at the same time a certain moral conservatism, the sense of honour and the given word, the taste for loyalty, of mutual aid, and solidarity.' Such a conception, forged in the struggles against the bourgeoisie of Louis-Philippe and the heirs of his companions, transcends the artificial left-right cleavage, conceived to cut the people in two – for the greatest profit of cosmopolitan usurers.”

- Piere Vial

“We are Socialists, enemies, mortal enemies of the present capitalist economic system with its exploitation of the economically weak, with its injustice in wages, with its immoral evaluation of individuals according to wealth and money instead of responsibility and achievement, and we are determined under all circumstances to abolish this system! And with my inclination to practical action it seems obvious to me that we have to put a better, more just, more moral system in its place, one which, as it were, has arms and legs and better arms and legs than the present one!”

 - Gregor Strasser (murdered by Hitler, the National Capitalist plaything of the military industrialists)

Jews who oppose Israel in Palestine do their best to give their support to the Palestinian people, and many Israeli Jews risk going to Palestine to show that support. All round the world Jews are talking to Palestinians about this, and many Palestinians have expressed their gratitude for those Jews trying to make a difference on their behalf. I really am getting tired of people making the assumption that either Jews are Zionists or they just don't care. That is offensive.

- Richard Snell
